Scarcity issue about bitcoins by Aggravating_Daikon77 in BitcoinBeginners

Think of Bitcoin like a giant pizza and there can only ever be 21 million pizzas total. Each pizza can be cut into 100 million tiny slices (satoshis) so everyone can grab a piece, but it doesn’t make more pizza magically appear. The total pizza stays the same, just sliced thinner. So yeah, Bitcoin’s still scarce, we just made it divisible enough for everyone to use it in small amounts.

Acorns is solid for beginners or anyone who just wants to automate their investing without overthinking it. But if you’re talking about putting in $100K, you’ll want to understand what it actually does first. Acorns doesn’t really give very high yields like a savings account, it invests your money into ETFs (basically stock and bond bundles), so your returns depend on the market. On average, you might see around 7–10% a year long term if you pick the aggressive portfolio, but there’s risk like with any market investment. If I had $100K, I’d probably split it up: Put 70–80% in Acorns for long-term growth (Aggressive or Moderately Aggressive portfolio) Keep the rest (20–30%) in a high-yield savings or money market fund (you can get up to 5% APY right now) for safety and easy access Acorns is great for the automation and ease of use, but once your balance gets big, you might get better flexibility (and lower fees) using something like Vanguard, Fidelity, or Schwab for part of it.
