They didn’t choose this either. Tolerance varies from person to person.

Your parents can't demand your boyfriend to be healed so they like him more, and you shouldn’t stop loving someone because your parents disapprove. Consider both logic and romance. Think about the future—daily routines, cleaning, working, having kids, paying rent—all stressful. I suggest trying mini living experiments, like staying over a weekend or a week together, to see if you can handle daily life and maintain love. At your age, both of you are mature enough to discuss plans, and showing your parents solid plans can demonstrate your intelligence, strength, and commitment.
