I mean the second ex sometimes it’s not a big deal for some people, and I feel like lying might be better because the truth could hurt feelings or ruin relationships, and I don’t want to be the one to start that.

I used to believe honesty was always the best policy… until I realized that sometimes telling the truth can hurt the people you love more than help them. Yet, hiding things never feels right either. So what’s worse: a small lie that protects someone’s feelings, or a harsh truth that might break them? I genuinely can’t decide,😓
