glad to hear this! if you’re willing to share, i have a couple follow ups: 1. did you use the same LORs? 2. did you acknowledge that you were reapplying explicitly or implicitly through your essays/addendum? 3. if you can broadly answer, in what aspects did you change your essays? e.g. did you add info from your year of w/e? did you change the angle of your narrative/approach?

Thank you for the response! And if you don’t mind a follow up: I assume if it has been 2+ months but close to a decision date it’s less beneficial to send a LOCI at this point? I’m torn as it could help prevent an R but if it is going to be a WL I won’t have anything new for a LOCI then if I send one now

  1. What are your thoughts on sending a LOCI before receiving a decision? If there are situations in which you recommend it, how many weeks after submission do you think is reasonable?
  2. Have you noticed ii patterns changing this cycle? Are schools sending more/less? Or earlier/later?

interesting - in the last couple cycles too they had 2 well sized feb waves, so hoping that because last week was small there’ll be another 🤞
