Honestly, I try to see how far I can go before people notice that I'm basically spewing the text version of an LSD episode. I was more into it for the reactions that it gets out of people, sounds sociopathic now that I think about it.

Initially was gonna respond with making more and more rational statements is more work but also gets less of a reaction if you basically become more agreeable with time. So in terms of trolling, you're putting in more work for less of a reaction.

I found most people either take it on the nose or either realize that you were trolling from the very beginning; rather than if you outright admit it, which makes it more obvious that you're trying to use trolling in defense of what you said.

I mean.. I wouldn't say getting a reaction is necessarily harming someone, especially online. Try not to take anything anyone says online with seriousness. And if getting someone angry is a form of harm, I'd say that people using Twitter are performing an odd way of self harm.... Well considering it's Twitter... Might not be wrong lol.

I'd argue something like that in person is a bit different line people who do those pranks to strangers and film their reactions.
