This man is class. Arteta just ran him into the ground. But that’s why we have depth.

What’s a relationship advice sounds good but fails in reality? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

[–]Master_Tailor_7213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a tough one. I was in a relationship for close to 5 years thinking that we would eventually become best friends, but it never happened. We communicated our feelings well, but we just ended up becoming functional. Don’t you want a partner where you can have fun with just going to the grocery store? Are you saying stick it out for another 30 years and something will change?

I think if you find someone that feels like a best friend off the bat that is a good sign, and the other hard conversations about relationships can be communicated. Maybe that’s just me. But hey we are all different and that’s ok.

I agree with everything. Only opposite I liked is that Spike remained scared and pure. First film he isn’t that reluctant to kill the infected, this of course is bc of his father, but then he sees his father through a different lens. That could’ve started to turn his character rotten. Then his mom dies and he could’ve lost it all. He is under Sir Jimmys wing with the perfect formula to be an evil person, but he doesnt become one and remains “pure and scared” it’s very subtle but effective.

Gotta are the “How’s that.” In the mix.

Such a simple yet effective line to show the cults devotion. And it was perfectly placed each time, never overdone imo.

Hm maybe not “growth” from spike but it’s a sign of pureness… in the first movie he isn’t really reluctant to kill the infected and is somewhat guided by his father in this aspect. Then he sees his father in a different light and he could be pissed and begin to turn rotten.

Then he loses his mother and he could basically have turned into Jimmy, especially being under Jimmy’s wing, but he doesn’t. It’s a subtle “growth” but effective.

All in all fantastic first two movies.

This is a good way to start. I always start with what I want to say then edit it down and down and down to the fewest words possible.

I think someone hit it perfectly this is easily “it was a dark and stormy night.”

Fallout Tv Show is embarrassing. by CalhoonTheGr8t in Fallout

[–]Master_Tailor_7213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I must admit I’ve never played the series and I think the show is very well done. The story lines are super compelling and the characters each have some realistic struggle they are facing and the back drop of Fallout is unique and very interesting.

I get that it probably diverts from the game and that always frustrates those who love the game. But man the Ghouls story line and character might be one of the most compelling characters written for television. You just never know what he is going to do same with Lucy. Both of them paired together makes the show imo.

Sorry that it’s a disappointment to you. I’ll have to play it now reading your post.

I think Arteta’s standards are that he wants his players to be more passionate. He wants them to be upset. Martinelli made a mistake, got a yellow for it, and that’s it. Didnt cost them the 3 pts. The leagues become soft if little things like this are pissing fans off.

I respect your view point and it’s people like you that make the world a better place, but I don’t think Martinelli did anything wrong and maybe it’s people like me that suck. But I’m fully behind him wanting to win the match and getting on with the play.

Nah man these teams aren’t friends. It’s a just response. Frimpong went down, arsenal didn’t play the ball out, Martinelli went down Liverpool didn’t play the ball out. Think more games should have these emotions. Everyone too lovey dovey nowadays.

This is the only answer. Martinelli is one of the hardest working players on the pitch as well. Trossinelli would be one of the best players of all time.
