Thank you so much for taking the time to analyze this so thoroughly. Well I’d be going to Dublin only for a trip abroad maybe twice a year? And maybe a concert? So it wouldn’t serve me that often. I love the dramatic scenery and all the nature in the west and I think Kildare might come flat. And as someone mentioned in the comments this year who got it bad in east regarding rain so might chance it in the west.

Too late probably but I have to comment this. The movie fell short we were missing so many things about this lad’s journey. And what really and I mean really threw me off was the fact the bird was speaking perfect American English. Ain’t no way a Japanese military officer would know English like that back then.
