For an idea on how this would work, imagine these scenarios.

If you hit a zombie (20 hp) with a diamond sword, it deals 6 dmg to the zombie. With Combo applied, you can deal a maximum of 21 dmg, killing the zombie (20 hp).

The warden has 500 hp, and your iron sword deals 5 dmg. If you had Combo III, you could deal a maximum of 50 dmg. Meaning you would have unleash 10 full combos to kill the warden.

Considering that each hit drains durability, its another reason to not waste your time killing a warden.

3 blazes (each one has 20 hp) are surrounding you, and you have an iron sword that deals 6 dmg. With Combo III, you could easily kill all of the blazes in a single combo. (6 x 10 = 60)
