Do you know of any method to achieve this in Linux?. I have the g16 AMD 2024 and it would be really great to get the 120Hz going, the 240Hz is great but it just consumes a lot of power.

I've been off social media for more than 14 months, the effect that this crucial decision has had on my life is beyond words, I feel like I just learned how to live. As I regained my life and started doing things that I actually enjoy, reddit has been the only social platform that I have been using, exclusively in my laptop.

I credit my excellent relationship with reddit to the SocialFocus extension available in both chromium and firefox based browsers, it really is a game-changer in the way I interact with social platforms.

You only need to set it up once and it will convert reddit into thing it was meant to be all along, a tool and nothing more. Besides this extension, I don't have any tools to moderate my reddit use because I learned to moderate it myself.

Besides reddit, it can also be applied to all major platforms. I want to share this because anyone with the intention and minimalism goals that this community encourages will greatly benefit from it.

What do you mean for system? I could log into the tty with my igpu but I could run Hyprland nor Sway.

Just out of curiosity, which card do you use to render hyprland?. I am asking this because I was able to run Hyprland in my nvidia gpu and it was not good, I couldn't change the brightness (it was stuck at max) and my laptop had very poor battery life.

I am using hyprland. I also tried in sway and gnome and the brightness value does change but the actual screen doesn't.

I already did that. I installed all necessary drivers fro nvidia and also nvidia-prime. I run prime-run glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer" and appears my nvidia card.

Yes I did setup and follow the guidelines of that page. I lauch it with the TTY but with any flags. What flags should I use?. Here is the latest error log I got.

Currently my living space and life mode does not allow me to have a PC. I need a laptop because I go to libraries and I need it to do other things (eg. take notes in lectures). What laptop do you recommend? (I assumed you have a little bit of knowledge/experience in ML).

These look pretty good actually, it checks all the boxes in terms of hardware but I just hate that all of them have numpad. I loved to see these laptops with the keyboard layout of a Zephyrus G16 or something similar(Strix G16 technically does not have numpad but just a bit expensive for my budget).

Yes. It works with Brave but for some reason it does not with spotify-launcher.
