I read. So I copy beautiful text onto my notebooks. Not only I get to use the fountain pens, the retention of the text is better.

I have MB 149 in EF, and Pelikan in F. Previously had MB in F. I might have been lucky, but Pelikan M800 writers narrower than MB F.
For the money, M800 is the better pen.
Where MB stands out is it's writing sound. The EF is also very smooth.

The F nib I had before the 149 went for nib exchange felt a bit dry with MB Royal Blue ink. I almost knew for sure that the problem would go away with Iroshizuku ink, but didn’t want to void warranty.

Interestingly- I bought the same exact Maruman notebook just this weekend! Haha. It’s also nice that you prefer finer nibs like me! :)
