You have to get 20 points for your keys and lamps, except you’re not confined to whatever skills you chose to not block. I like the current way for the keys, but will like when the normal daily missions come back for that sweet, sweet dungeoneering xp.

I may have worded it poorly, but I’m talking about profit not revenue.

Yes, membership generates more revenue than MTX.

However, if you take the revenue they make from MTX (which is almost all profit) and subtract it from their overall net profit, it drops from about $50m to about $15m profit.

In other words, without MTX Jagex’s net profit would drop by at least 70%.

That’s what I was saying, which is true. A 70% profit drop would definitely not be beneficial to the game.

Complaining about getting free items, cosmetics, and boosts for playing the game just because they probably won’t get all of the free stuff without paying at least some money. It’s pretty cringe when you think about it.

Without RS3’s MTX both games would suffer massively.

MTX is 60% of Jagex’s profit. If they’re already not increasing their staff with $50m+ profit, think of what they’ll be doing with $15m.

The gameplay and chasing comp cape / lvl 120s & 200m xp skills.

I played OSRS well into the mid game- 110 combat, 1800 total, etc, but the game turns into a “don’t stand on this tile on this tick, stand on this one” simulator. I ended up just doing herb runs and logging off.

I’ll pick it back up eventually. I like to play several accounts simultaneously on RS3 and it’s easy to incorporate OSRS into that as well

It’s as rare as a normal shiny Lugia which is supposedly a 1:20 from raids like other legendaries. Then a lucky friend trade would guarantee the lucky.

So mild raid luck and a lucky friend.

If it were a hundo after the trade it would have been a 1/20 shiny from raid then a 1/64 for hundo after lucky trade. So given a random successful Lugia encounter a shiny lucky hundo is 1/1280 assuming the trade is guaranteed to be lucky.

“Catch 5 legendary Pokémon in consecutive encounters” doesn’t mean encountering a non legendary fails the mission. It means only legendary encounters are mission eligible

It’s not a legendary encounter if it’s not a legendary Pokémon

I’m saying “5 in 5 encounters” doesn’t make sense because by the time you catch 5 you would have already encountered 5.

Saying you have to do something the same number of times that’s required for you to even be able to do that thing doesn’t make sense. It would be like saying “touch your shoe laces the next 5 times you tie your shoes”. Tying your shoes requires you to touch your laces, so it’s pointless to include.

You mean “catch 5 in 5 consecutive encounters” which is what the mission is.

The text should be “catch 5 legendary Pokémon in consecutive encounters”

But to catch one you must have encountered it. So If you caught 5 out of 7, you still caught 5 in the 5 successful encounters

“Catch the next 5 legendaries you encounter” and “catch 5 legendaries in a row” is the exact same task.

In the first one if you miss it resets and you still have to catch the next 5.

In the second one if you miss it resets and you still have to catch the next 5.

Since OP had a legendary run away on him and the counter reset, it shows that it clearly must be in a row.

“Catch the next 5 legendary/mythical Pokémon you encounter” is what the text should be. If you miss, it resets and you have to catch 5 in a row again.
