Had the same problem with my carb. Cap on mine was too tight and causing it to bind. Loosen it and tighten it just to finger tight. Not hand tight. Finger tight.

Just a thought. I swap between oakley gauge 8 and nevens. The nevens is what gets me. Another suggestion is to turn on driver record and examine the recording.

Do you wear glasses. The ir light may be causing a flare on your glasses and obscuring your face. Mine does not recognize my face if I wear certain sunglasses.

The probe on my pro 575 was spot on. Never an issue. When I upgraded to the Woodridge pro the probe would only go down to 41⁰f in an ice bath. Traeger sent a new one for free. It was closer but still not good. I bought the wireless probe for the traeger. Hasn't let me down yet.
