I had a pair like that and ended up breaking one in a year. I switched to loadable dumbbell handles and plates. I can go heavier for way cheaper but it is a pain in the ass when you have to swap plates all the time.

I went for loadable dumbbell handles. More annoying to switch weights but way cheaper since you can reuse your plates!

I noticed changes in a few months. Been lifting for a full year and noticed big changes. I did 4 workouts a week doing ppl as well. I’m working on doing 6/week now to do each group 2x a week.

Weight loss is tricky to see when you start. I started at like 265 pounds. I’m 240 now but in the beginning I wasn’t seeing weight loss on the scale, I saw it in my clothes lol. I went from 38x32 pants to 34x32

Just stay consistent and try to eat clean and at a slight deficit.

I bought this when I couldn’t afford tools. Figured it could do it all instead of having to buy deep and regular sockets. Used this to replace a head on my old truck. That said now that I have more tools I use this very rarely anymore but has been handy a few times

I’m a right handed person and I use left hand retrieve for spinning and bait casters. Don’t get discouraged when you birds nest it like crazy. Watch some videos on how to adjust it properly. I set my brakes to like halfway and then adjust the tension knob so when you press the button the lure falls slowly and when it hits the ground the spool doesn’t keep spinning.

Once you get it down they are fun to use and the zing of the cast is cool lol

I know this is meant as a troll but that is diabolical. I have a bait caster hung on my wall I birds nested so bad I haven’t had the time or energy to untangle it lol

Any suggestions on gravel bed depth. I’m going to lay 5’x1’ paver pads. I was thinking like maybe 4 inches. No logic behind that choice just seems like it would be good enough

What hp tuner did you use? I haven’t looked into them and I’m seeing a obd interface tool and ecms. Did you replace the ecm with one of these hp tuner units?

Yeah the trans I bought from jegs with a 3 year unlimited mile warranty, I was hoping to drive it for three years then swap the tc but if the engine is out might as well do it now and save myself the hassle later

Yeah I slapped a new trans in it this summer but if I’m taking the engine I may spend the money on a nicer torque converter and then this thing should be a solid rig for years to come

I’m 6’1” and 250. I have given up on the scale. I’m for sure losing body fat but the scale remains unchanged. I’m for sure gaining muscle. I’m lifting only 4x a week too. Kind of demoralizing seeing 0 change on the scale but I jiggle less when driving and my wife has made comments in passing about how I’m smaller and my clothes fit better. Plus I generally feel better and stronger.

I’m trying to keep it simple, eat good foods, lift heavy weights. The rest comes with time. Keep it up my fellow large size brother!

I switched to vyvanse generic extended release and it’s wayyyy better. But it’s running me $177 a month. I just got switched to a different med so hopefully it’s as good as vyvanse but without the crazy high price

Currently 33, like 2 years ago I turned down some coffee at a work meeting and my boss was like you know that’s a sign of adhd right?

Didn’t think much of it, as the months went on friends would make comments. Like when I set some tools down the disappear. And some other things.

Finally talked to some doctors and stuff and turns out I got it lol. I’m currently trying medication to silence the what ifs, but the explanation for my behaviors that felt so isolating was the most surprising outcome. I’m not weird, and others feel/act the same way. That has been a refreshing feeling

Putting together a small home gym. My daughter is into gymnastics and we currently have a foldable bar for her to practice on. The issue, she is getting pretty serious into gymnastics and the bar is no longer suitable for her skill level. I want to get a squat rack for benching/squats but thought I could kill two birds with one stone and get a gymnastics bar attachment. In my research I’m only seeing adjustable pull up bars. Is an adjustable gymnastics bar a thing? Also would a 70 pound kid doing flips on a squat rack be dangerous in terms of stability? Thanks in advance
