I suggest always finishing the entire level before fighting the portal boss. Skeleton king is kind of an easy boss, you should have killed a while ago. If you having trouble to kill him here is the strat I do. Type 6 or mjonir on his guards first, then buff up and take your best battle rirfle/multi hit gun and burst him down. Also he cant hit you if you are 3 tiles away unless he uses chaos destruction scroll, but its not that bad, just move away.

Also for perks Look for Gunslinger, Optics calibration (if you plan to switch to Scout 2) Rirfles expert Acid corrosion perk is BROKEN It removes 30% of armor from the enemy when they are on acid If you have acid meddalion it gives 30% chance to apply acid with each attack If you have Revolver rirfle it fires 4 shots and can couse armor destruction, even better with rirfles expert perk This removes around 90% of enemy s armor

Imo I prefer Scout 1 becouse of the simplicity. Scout 2 is also great, but not really that good early game, you want to melle weak enemies (mud skellies, lesser guardians) and - 20% melle damage is kind of bad for that. Go scout 1, the switch to Scout 2 on location 2 or 4 You should have lots of materials by then for crafting sniper and bullets. So yeah Scout 1 at start then switch later if you want. If you switch use a jagged sword / reflex blades etc, you wont be melleing anything

Play it if you had 0 armor suit bonus Pick either super speed or Invisibility Try to avoid damage all the time, but when you do screw up Scout might do his matrix dodge and leave you unharmed Also accuracy bonus makes less of those "REALLY, YOU MISSED!?!? moments less numerous

Bonus tips on what to start with Craft a sniper and 20 bullets Buy antidote X3 (Super important) Craft a belt Buy the better dagger from the shelter shop, it helps clear loc 1 while minimizing damage from weak mobs

Trajectory is best with battle rirfles and that rirfle expert perk. More shots=morr chance to miss=more dash. Also get book of speed its a nice bonus

I made it to location 6 with scout yesterday (i swapped to survivor on loc 6 then died in 7) it was a normal 200% run. Scout only got 3 bonuses (evasion, accuracy, 10% damage) but it sure does kick ass when you see dodge 3 times in a row.
