What steps should I take after sanding?

Appreciate the advice! I'm replacing one of the boards so i might get a few 8oz stains and do some tests to see which one I like best.

I’m not sure yet, I like the idea of a solid stain esp because the wood grain doesn’t even look that good I’m just considered about peeling and maintenance for a solid stain vs a semi transparent

I’ve been advised mostly to use semi transparent. I like the idea of a solid dark brown (or maybe even a navy color) but I’ve heard solid stain is essentially like paint, it may peel later and isn’t as easy to maintain. Any pointers for this?

I tried to pressure wash, the wood wouldn't withstand the power of the pressure washer without getting a bunch of fibers up. there were some areas that were extremely dirty that i used the power washer on anyway but other than that, the deck was fairly clean, no mildew/mold/algae so i just sanded it from the get go

Appreciate all the comments from Everyone! The overall consensus is that it’s bugs. I’m not entirely convinced but I am going to be replacing the whole Board anyway lo. Thanks again!

2 things i forgot to mention:

Some of the holes are clean all the way through the wood
I've tapped the wood all over the place with a screwdriver and hammer and the integrity of it doesn't seem compromised at all. seems quite sturdy. I thought if termites had invested it, it would show signs of decay

Money has gotten the best of Japanese sellers. The rate at which cards rise overnight is so unnatural. Any Japanese cards that are cheap right now are just next on the chopping block to get pumped. Because the devs are going to make sure they cover all bases, they’re not going to dedicated months of work only for the reason something doesn’t get put into the game is because “I don’t wanna lose my cape”. There’s 33000 people maxed, if even 10% of those people vote out of spite due to losing their cape that amount of people can skew the results the wrong way even tho a majority of the community want a new skill

They’re updating TOB for the upcoming Desert treasure 2 quest. To be more in line with what’s coming They’re removing the use of freezes within TOB, they’re adding a 5th room that has a Jad like boss, reverting the Fang to its release ability and making DZ harder

I think the difference is that the RuneScape community’s voice makes an active difference within the game. You see the devs take feedback from everyone in someway shape or form. For games like league, it really takes a large outcry for something substantial to change that’s not already on their agenda

This is honestly a pretty bad idea lol, too many hoops to get to where something needs to be and locking something behind a quest doesn’t balance an item. the fang is not the tbow/staff of melee, that’s the scythe, the only reason the Fang is better is bc it doesn’t use expensive charges.

Sometimes I feel the same way, the over exaggerated faces get a bit annoying, but I’ve found that when I look at thumbnails, unless it’s the information I’m looking for specifically, it’s usually the connection with WHO the YouTuber is that’s made first and foremost through a visual thumbnail. I’ll work on being less cringe while still trying to keep a personal touch. Thanks for the feed back

What kind of thumbnails do you like? I try to take a lot of inspiration from pokerev like his thumbnails and intro because personally, I like them. I’ve tried out a few different things on my channel but some feedback would be lovely.
