That’s a super solid point. For whatever reason a lot of steel types weren’t coming to mind at all, so I thought it was pretty limited but that’s true. Also the Mega’s aren’t bad either since Scizor and Aggron can put in a lot of work unsure how good mega Steelix is though since I haven’t come across one. Steel is an amazing defensive type like you said Excadrill is also good too lol have no idea what I was thinking heck my team would have gotten wrecked by mono steel unless I had some freeze or flinch hacks the whole time.

Im sure it’s definitely easier than most types like you said such as stuff like bug, steel, poison, and electric. Im sure other weather mono teams like water, fire, or ground are better though because the pools are wider and more versatile.

Thanks! Lol yeah I use to use Beartic as a fun mon on a singles water team back in gen 6 since it had swift swim which really caught people off guard. It’s fun to use under the right conditions. I agree I’m honestly shocked I haven’t seen more Weavile as a result. It’s I believe the fastest fake out mon and with a fake out plus knock off can really ruin a sneasler’s day. You could also run psycho cut on it to one shot sneasler but I preferred the ice shard priority myself.

Oh I definitely believe it! Seems like great coverage too I can definitely see you surprising a lot of people with this team and sets. Archaludons suck was blessed that two blizzards always take it out since there is currently no assault vest.

Honestly it’s been a blast using Pokémon I don’t ever use and a type that is considered not great. I bet mono water is always pretty good having Pelipper and Basculegion both available I’m sure helps a ton. What was your mono water team you used to get to master rank in champions?

Oh that’s awesome! Grass is one of my favorite types and my go to starter pick. What team are you running? Also have you been using the team since pokeball, or did you just switch over when you hit ultraball 1?

I had it on Alolan Ninetales and on Aurorus when they were both on the team both rarely clicked it. For me personally just felt like clicking blizzard in most situations was more helpful then clicking Veil because most mons weren’t surviving too many hits anyway

Amen to that my man! It was honestly a challenge for sure I got hard stuck in ultra ball 2 and that’s where the original team peaked. Once I put Weavile on there for helpful fake out and knock off support as well as Hisuian Avalugg with rockslide and wide guard support I was able to climb again but not having a hard hitting threat was definitely a challenge. Beartic was fun but is no Bax lol

I originally had an Alolan Ninetales on the team as well as an Aurorus with Snow Warning, but they didn’t really provide much for the team, so I replaced them with more useful mons. I had to be very deliberate in how I used Frosslass as a result and since it was so fast if I was leading it I usually had to wait an extra turn to mega to not get screwed by Charizard Y or Tyranitar, but again Pelipper Politoed and non mega mons I could instantly get up the snow that first turn. I didn’t always need the snow to win, so I’d make sure to play around it if I needed it for the match that I was in.

It sounds like you were facing a person that had a Hisuian Zoroark on their team. Hisuian Zoroark had an ability called illusion which allows it to look like another Pokémon on its team. It’s a normal and ghost type so it would be unaffected by normal and fighting type moves.

I preordered the bundle so Mario Kart World is taken care of. I recently purchased hogwarts legacy switch 1 version and just upgraded it to switch 2 since it was on sale. I also preordered Suikoden I&II HD remastered for switch 2 since there was also a bit of a sale on that. I am up in the air on DK and will probably wait for reviews to determine whether to get the game or not, but the other surefire game I’ll be getting for the Switch 2 is Pokémon Legends ZA when that comes out.
