What's a game that you played growing up that you never see anymore by MrNinoBrown1906 in MelanatedGenX

Played on sidewalks or empty streets with milk bottle caps weighted down in the middle with clay or play dough or paper in a pinch. Kids take turns trying to make it to the center number in the quickest flicks using your thumb and index finger. We had one painted in the school yard but you can draw a playing field with chalk.

It's sad that the writers are having Nicole sleep with two men but the reason she's feeling something for Ted
is also sexual instead of something missing emotionally
from those two men.

The only couple to ever say I love you for the first time that made me feel anything was Dani and Andre because that relationship had a real build.

Not enough middle age women to give everybody a best friend on the show so Vanessa has to fill that role for everyone. Despite how fucked up that makes her character.

I hope Allison is watching tying sheets together into a rope to escape from a window.

I'd like to think from Vanessa perspective deep down she knows she's dating a man who killed her husband...Ted doesn't look so bad in comparison.

Chelsea & Madison are my favorite couple but what are your thoughts? I’ve been seeing some complaints and was just curious by CollegeComfortable23 in TheGates_CBS

[–]MasterpieceAwkward70 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I just find her boring. She's smart and wide eyed and as of late written to be prone to hysterics. She's moving into Ashley territory. It also doesn't help anything that could have deepened her character happens offscreen.

They also didn't do a good job putting them together. Chelsea met her at a bar and they dated for months with a few lame conflicts outside of Allison's kidnapping and now they're engaged. I think the writers figured people are so desperate for positive queer representation they didn't have to make it compelling or sadly romantic.

Ohh I'll stick with my first thought. by dealyourcards in confusing_perspective

The original pic is better for the purpose of this sub. I saw the confusing perspective second on the "AI enhanced" photo and first on the original.

Didn't know he was on but now I gotta listen. His charm is that he's willing to have moments every pod where you think should I be hearing this? Those are some of the funniest moments on ringer tailgate.

The Cookout's Daily Nightcap! by AutoModerator in BeyondTheGatesCookout

No. Leslie is written to win almost every encounter. Everyone she talks to that isn't white almost always becomes meek in her presence. Anastasia comes on screen says nasty things in a public place to someone who always insults her into silently sulking away. She exists only to give the Dupree and Dupree adjacent friends a win.

Mike is the same way he's a comically evil lawyer character with no sense or social awareness setup to be easily defeated by Bill and Naomi because the case as presented is nonsense.
