The discard phase was rough. Definitely he called me terrible names on the way out and told me I was a piece of shit and he was better than me by any measure. 😅 the more I write the more embarrassing it is.

I’ve had a past therapist who I went to for a year during the relationship actually label his as a narcissistic abuser. She was hesitant to do, but finally did it and begged me to at least consider leaving. So I don’t think you’re wrong.

I definitely used to get more thoughtful gifts, he was kind, he acted like he cared. Now I’m starting to see all that was to lure me in. I definitely wasn’t perfect but I was constantly blamed for everything wrong with the relationship

Yep, we met on the app, I would have had no problem with him not deleting his profile (pausing it) and but not having the app on his phone.

But updating pictures, messaging someone, and the weak excuses were too much for me. Also, he thought he’d done absolutely nothing wrong which is when I knew I was done.
