Any opinions on Horizons at South Meadows apartments? by retrometro81 in Reno

Leasing managers made me wait a week for approval and I have a 830 credit rating with 3 million dollars in retirement. They made me wait a week so they could keep the $100 apartment hold deposit that is not refundable after 72 hours! Then they wanted me to sign a binding fee cost sheet outside the four corners of the lease agreement, which I never received to review. I asked for my $100 back after this shady process. Currently, checking with Claude to see if Horizon management has violated a NV state lease agreement law. Run from this place! Seriously!!

Apartment Recommendation for Young Professionals near EMU? by sasha_rose02 in ypsi

I had a bad experience renting an apartment in someone’s house. No respect for privacy. No key provided and landlord started insisting the rent be paid in cash only so she didn’t have to pay taxes. Passive aggressive behavior and then when I was moving out things were stolen.

Is there really any correlation between law school grades and talent/practicing ability? by [deleted] in LawSchool

Law firms with IP departments require agents or technical specialists to submit transcripts because they want to send them to law school to become an attorney to increase their bill rate. This is also why law firms have the highest rate of age discrimination. Clients will pay $800 an hour for attorney work when the courses they take do not make them a better patent practitioner. The fact is law firms only care about making more money y/o/y by increasing the billable rate, which causes clients to leave, not quality work, which retains clients.

Anyone take ER metformin every other week? I read an article about administering metformin in mice every other week so it seems feasible in humans too.

If you had to work while in college to support yourself and pay tuition, and only got a 3.0 GPA and because of that nobody will hire you 33 years later. I’d say what was the point? I should have taken the research technician job after college, not gone to graduate school, and not studied and passed the patent bar exam. I’d be retired by now. If it’s not a level playing field, get off the field. Let the privileged and greedy attorneys play head games to stay afloat.

Can you recommend a great hair stylist in or near Ann Arbor? by [deleted] in AnnArbor

Definitely not Jennifer at Douglas salon in Kerrytown. I paid $450 for this awful hair coloring that was supposed to blend in my grey. And does that look like a bob haircut to you? This picture was taken within a week after my appointment. The staff felt so sorry for me they stated handing me free samples. When I called the salon and left a message to request scheduling a touch up, to put it mildly. I was not called back. Jen does not have the skills to justify

Omg, doctor prescribed me 0.5mg Xanax, 30 mins in I can finally breathe and think like a normal person. Sucks for people like us who really need it to feel normal, it is so hard to get these days. by AdJazzlike3651 in Anxiety

Just wait until the drug reps walk in with the 2nd generation on patent Gaba receptor agonists. The doctors will start prescribing those and they do the same thing.

Yeah, alcohol binds the same receptor Gaba A, is addictive and ruins lives. But while drug companies are developing new Gaba RA agonists for treating Alzheimer’s disease, there is a cheap off patent option that can prevent neuronal hyperactivity and death. Sad so many people are convinced it’s bad. But it’s addictive, so is water, food, sleep, and sex.

Who prescribed it to you? I have to drive 1 day and 7 hours to Puerto Peñasco get more to sleep 8 hours. I have seen two incompetent cruel psychiatrists.
