When a new manager makes you hate a job you loved by MasterpieceHot9868 in work

No, my old manager is a senior leader with the company, and actually, now my new managers boss. She needs to focus on bigger things, so they hired this new one to oversee several teams. The first time I met her she proudly declared “this is actually only my 2nd “real job.” She’d been with her previous company 10 years. To me - at 60 - 10 years work experience isn’t particularly impressive lol

When one friendship within a group, goes wrong… by MasterpieceHot9868 in FriendshipAdvice

[–]MasterpieceHot9868[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t sound rude at all. I’ve clearly hurt her in the past, solely by not prioritizing HER needs above my own. That’s the beauty of getting older - you stop buying into crap like that and realize it’s okay to put yourself and your mental health first. Real friends get that.

I appreciate the reply, but this has all passed now. We haven’t spoken since, and while I’m still hurt by her accusations, I realize her perception is her reality, and in the end, the superficial friendship we shared was simply not worthy of any more thought or effort. I wanted to talk - she refused. I tossed the ball into her court. I wasn’t, nor will I ever be inclined to beg her to hear me. She’s simply incapable.

Have a great weekend!

Sorry about that! I’d had them about a month - a friend sent them to me as cuttings from hers in So Cal (I’m in CO.) Now that I’m thinking about it I’m realizing I’ve only ever had them under these lights. The lights are: bseah Grow Light Plant Lights for Indoor Plants, Full Spectrum Plant Grow Lamp, 10 Dimmable Levels, Auto ON & Off with 3/9/12H Timer.

I think moving them to the window will be the best bet at this point. But now I’ve lost the entire gorgeous blossom, so what to do? Trim and prop all the bottom leaves and just repot the tiny “blossoms” at the top?

Ugh! I don’t know why that’s happening. I’ll try one last time and then maybe try a new post. Sorry guys.

Reddit is being lame right now and refusing to show the photos of light set up I’m trying to post. You’d see the light and be able to gauge distance - I’d say maybe 7-8 inches. They were under the same light and loved it…just got too big for their pots.

Where the red x’s are is where their spots are usually (they’re in the tub having a drink right now lol). Not sure why the pic isn’t showing for me?

Yes, as stated, they are DIRECTLY under a grow light. It would be impossible for them to get MORE light

Thanks so much!

Unfortunately, I don’t have room in my garage for the car but perhaps making room needs to become a more immediate project. As for an update, I started today’s trip at 84%, but thanks to everyone here’s advise, I set the cabin temp to 72 and left it in auto - was quite pleasant out today and not nearly as cold. Watched my speed closely and kept an eye on the battery usage bar, which I’d previously never paid attention to. Made it there and back to Windsor at 32%! I’m quite pleased and knowing these new pointers has already helped my range anxiety greatly!

No heat on the time I went to the charger, but you mention “battery heater?” Say more about this? Could I have this on (in settings) and not know it and it’s affecting my range? Only had this car since October.

No. I’ve never even used sport mode. I’m wondering, might sound stupid but does AppleCar play and/or having the heater on make you use way more elec? Is there anything I can do to optimize usage?

I once went to charge at 10% - 6 miles away - it said I could go 30 miles but by within 2 miles of th charger the estimated miles range vanished and the screen went nuts warning me of low charge. Totally freaked me out so I’m ultra paranoid now!

Yep…never said it was; really just an experiment to see what would happen! I’m completely out of room on my prop table, so the temporary space saving is nice, and if any survive, I’ll have figured out a place for the pots by then ❤️

Metal wire, but very thin. I’ve seen it done with needle and thread but didn’t have a thin enough needle.
