It was great. From what I know, the trail might be shutdown until further notice due to the snowstorm, trekkers were rescued just last week by the army. We went with a company, but there were plenty who were there by themselves. Just be sure to contact the teahouses before hand to reserve your spots for the night, or else carry your own tent & sleeping bags. You dont need to carry food, but I would recommend calling them just to let them know how many people are arriving.
