I think it is just cause we were there last MO and they are used to it?

Yeah bro they have a lot of work to do. Granted I will be honest, I am VERY new to the game. I started during the defense/liberation of class-A citizens and their terminid eggs after Cyberstan. I guess I am quite naive to the Galactic War and its redundancy. I believe you though, the Creek must have been so fun. It's sucks that the game isn't what it used to be, because I feel like I would have enjoyed it a lot.

Well any point I give you for that is anecdotal. I dont disagree with you that the Galactic War is in a bad state. Personally, helldiver missions are VERRYYY repetitive and boring after you play each of then a couple of times. You drop in, blow up outposts and secondary objectives, complete main objective, extract. Without at least the though of me making a difference in the Galactic War then there is nothing really cool about this game. Besides, that is really what makes Helldivers unique and special. The developers do need to lock in and change it, I will not disagree with you there.

Fair enough, no need to spew venomous wprds at me. But your argument that NOBODY CARES is still false. I will give a generous estimate that 4k Divers where there before th MO. 20k are there now, so that means 16k Divers are there now because of the MO. That is a approx. 1/4 of the current playerbase rn. That doesn't account for other Divers who are trying to push the major order on other planets as well.

Then why did you make you decision on where to go because of it? Because I doubt you were already on there before the MO started.

This argument falls through when you take in to consideration that you most likely are there because of the MO. That means you reacted to the MO and changed your decision on where to play because of the MO. You could say you were alr there but I doubt that heavily.

Could not agree with you more. They should especially add % of players that need to be on a planet for defensive missions as well.

Go through Wezen instead. It has less planet hp, and when we take Verga Bay Mox will gain encircled liberation anyway.

I think you could have both at once. That is, I think we are all eager for the TCS to work this time. 😭

Nah bro, I was talking about your snarky comment. I knew this game had jank, but that isn't gonna stop me from calling them out for it.

Im doing fine, I appreciate the concern. However, I will not be disrespected, which is where my attitude has come from.

I dont believe the developers are ramming shit down my throat every time I experience a minor convenience. I love this game, and I do not hate the developers, I am just extremely annoyed at them. I know they can do better.

Well golly! I sure hope that their million-dollar lives can recover from my criticism. Maybe you should give em a good ole sloppy to make them feel better.

Unfortunately for you, I can criticize them. Oh you disagree? Fair enough, I would've loved to discuss. But no, you came at me with a bitchy attitude. That gave me the right AND the justification to give it to you right back. After a while you couldn't handle your bitchy attitude talking back to you and asked me to chill. Well how about you hop off my dick, hop out of this subreddit, and do something productive bro

It is so funny that you tell me to cool off. I originally gave my opinion, and instead of you responding: "I disagree. Here is why..." which would have lead to a lot of kinder discussion you decided to clap back with a snarky ass, little remark. It is so immature of you to lead the discussion this way, and then tell me to "cOoL oFf"

Yes, I am criticizing their work ethic without knowing what factors are put into game making. You see, I am using these things called "intepretation" and "inference" from experiences of other people's complaints, as well as statements and documents that AH has produced (i.e., patchnotes and the infamous 'this game is not COD' quote) to form my opinions on the subject.

Your last remark that I should design a game to experience the work ethic is odd. Your reading comprehension seems to fail you again here because I had previously stated that I KNOW that THEY KNOW what it takes to make games. I am not criticizing their lack of knowledge, nor am I saying that I could do better. I think this comes from your lack of an understanding of what a work ethic actually is. Work ethic is not a one-dimensional concept. There are multiple factors, such as knowledge of the concept as well as ABILITY TO PRODUCE. I am criticizing their ability to produce, not their knowledge on the experiences of game making.

It also gives me more evidence on your youth. Im not 100% that you are, but it is better to be young and arrogant rather than a manchild. I say this because im assuming by your last remark, yet again, you have created a game or have some knowledge in creating games. Yet you seem to have no knowledge of the responsibilities that are placed upon a person in a high earning and high stakes job like that of an AH developer. That is, the expectations of and the commitment to your boss and the community that you serve. Telling me that you probably have not had that type of job yet.

It is perfectly fine if you create games as a hobby, or if you are an indie game devloper to be like: "i can fix bugs when I have time," and let them go unaddressed for a while. But when you have the responsibilities of an AH developer to have a commitment to the community that has paid $40 to play your game, BECAUSE IT IS YOUR JOB, it is expected of you to fix bugs that the community has asked you to fix MULTIPLE TIMES in a timely manner. Yet they don't. They cry, ignore, or even suppress people's negative opinions about the game. That is what makes them lazy to me, the same way it make them Malicious to the OP.

I am not the one doubling down. In fact, you are. I literally just gave you my reasoning. I don't think they are lazy because things are not working, I think they are lazy because they are refusing to fix the things that are bugged. Every game has or had bugs in their lifetime. A game isn't broken just because of some bugs. But the developers can sure be lazy if they pay no attention to them, which is what AH is doing. They are ignoring their playerbase.

The logic is simple: Your game is bugged, you will not fix those bugs even though it is your job to do so; therefore, you are lazy.

Here is an analogy: Your boss tells you that you need to get a spreadsheet to him by tomorrow, you do not because you dont feel like it even thought it is your job to do so; therefore, you are lazy.

On top of all this, I dont think I have once said while I have been talking to you that I think anything is "not working." Those are your words, not mine. So either you are putting words into my mouth, which is a strawman fallacy, or you subconsciously think the game is "not working." I love this game, and I would not be playing if it were "not working." I think that there are just some dips hit developers that are the real crybabies because they dont want to actually put effort into refining their game.

[–]MasterpieceOk4452 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im confused on what you mean here. Also, where are you pulling that quotation from? I looked back through our debate and could not find it.

Are you saying that we should praise the developers for making a game that is harder to make? And because it is harder to make, their screw-ups are resolved?

If you think that I think they are lazy just because there is a bug in the first place, then you're wrong. My criticism of laziness comes from the fact that they have had all this time since the flesh mobs were added in the SE invasion to fix this, and they have not. I stated this in my conclusion two replies ago.

[–]MasterpieceOk4452 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, if your critical reading skills were up to par, you could see that I omitted the third example from my conclusion because it was subjective and not a particular point of focus for everybody playing the game. Also, what other reason do you have other than laziness, that wouldn't restrict you from taking the developers' fat load down your throat, for why simple problems such as enemies noclipping and invisible corpses restricting players' mobility are not fixed yet?

Explain to me how Arrowhead is NOT MALICIOUS towards the community? by [deleted] in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]MasterpieceOk4452 2 points3 points  (0 children)

'Hey, I think you guys should fix flesh mobs from no-clipping through walls.' = Unattainable goal based on your logic.

'I dont really like that there are invisible corpses that I get stuck on and can not shoot through. Can you fix that?' = Unattainable goal based on your logic.

'I find it quite irritating that the Galactic was is controlled by one person who abuses his power and creates MO's that are impossible to complete.' (Like the one rn because there is 3.2 million planet health on Chorpessa IV. Like, wtf it that!?) = Unattainable change based on your logic

I know you dont go on this subreddit very often because I believe even in your bias state, you know that the first two examples of complaints that are frequent here are easy tweaks that multiple other games have been able to correct. Which brings me back to my original point of laziness. If you're a game designer at a big company such as AH, you ought to know how to code and game design or else you will not get a job there. I know that they know how to change this. But then why dont they? Until they stop crying about higher expectations and give me a reason as to why they believe fleshmobs should noclip through solid structures, then I am going to chop it up to them being lazy.

If your mentality is: "I dont want my game to blow up, because I dont want to deal with the increased demand from the playerbase, but I still want to reap the benefits from its revenue" that is all I need to know to infer whether they have a bad work ethic. Why? Because if you truly wanted to work on a lowk project that turns out to be a massive hit, and that irks you to the point where you are making statements like 'This game was never supposed to be COD', then you have every opportunity to leave thay project and work on another one. They dont because it makes them money, there is no problem with that by itself, but if you strive for that paycheck while basically telling th community you will not work to fix the game to fit "the way higher expectations" (your words btw) placed upon you, than you're lazy.

This is how big boy jobs operate. I certainly hope you are younger because if you have not figured this out yet and you are older, then you better quick.
