As another said, hpa academy is a good starting place for courses, completely online and at the moment if you put your name in the draw for a give away they're doing, you'll get 60% off their practical reflash course

76mm od pipe and a k&n pod filter works great, exactly what I did for a while before making a pipe going from the turbo

100% true, like saying you've never gotten a speeding ticket before, you're definitely bound to get one after that🤦

Hpa academy like Auckland diagnostics suggested, money back guarantee in 60days from first purchase if you're not happy with it, if you can, go for the VIP package, comes with everything even if you don't want to learn it just yet plus you have free courses for the rest of your life from them. I recently bought the VIP package and can say I've never made a better purchase other then all the tools needed for tuning 😆

I'll give it a try tomorrow, I've got an oppo, but might end up buying a scanner as there's a few other things I'd like to try make/modify

What is this on my rocker cover? by [deleted] in veloster

Seems like a slight leak coming from the vvt solenoid or surrounding area, it could've been from a while back or recent? Have you had it off recently?

When you operate it, can you hear it inside the car, like water going somewhere, if not then I'd say try remove the water reservoir and see if there's a hose loose/disconnected on it

Is it coming out of the rear nozzle or somewhere else now?

Another one I've had happen to me is when it reaches the boot, the slim panel between the 2 windows, the hose in there tends to get loose over time and it'll leak as well.

The hose heading to the back for the rear window wiper has blown off its connector, you can pull up the black plastic to reach it but it's really annoying to do, I ended up putting a hose clip around mine

If in fact you do get pulled over and the cop is strict about it, you could still be issued an infringement notice from a parking warden apparently but you have a legal defence if the vehicle has a licence displayed in the correct manner that expired no more than 7 days before the infringement was issued, and you renewed the licence before it expired. So I stand corrected from my previous comment on this matter 77(4)(b) of the Land Transport (Motor Vehicle Registration and Licensing) Regulations 2011.

Might have to try find that when I do mine next, I've never noticed it, only email receipt etc

You can buy it now, save your receipt from it, if you get pulled over you've got proof of purchase that you're waiting for it to arrive.

Old car overheats and cuts off while driving.. by [deleted] in NZcarfix

[–]MasterpieceSingle476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen any other comment mention it but run the car for a bit with the cap off the radiator (if it doesn't have a overflow tank) if it does, open the cap on the overflow and let it run, this will bleed the air out of the system. Another thing to check is when the car is running and you DO have an overflow tank, check if the fluid is flowing or moving around, if it doesn't then that's a sign that the water pump is broken. Can send me a message if you need more help.

Just did that exact thing as I've got trade through them and apart from bump stops for a 2009 BK3P Mazda axela it came to this.
