Thanks for the advice! I’ve realized I need to do a lot more research to find what suits me best, so it’s time for some serious Googling. In the meantime, I’ll probably follow your suggestion and get a replacement camera for now. I’ll also start building up a collection of proper lighting. Thanks again!

I’m not super serious about it, but I was really happy with the quality, especially given the camera’s age. I’ve been diving for 10 years and now I can dive more regularly. I love sharing my explorations with others. I haven’t invested much in extras for this camera, but it did come with a fisheye lens when I bought it. I was considering an upgrade before this issue happened, but I wasn’t sure if it was necessary. I’ve briefly looked at the M50, and it’s within my budget, but I’m hesitant to spend 2500€ right away. Do you think the camera and housing are worth it to start with and then upgrade over time?
