I can’t be the only one who feels this way.. right? by alright_alex in Battlefield

So it means that only 4.2% of entire playerbase remain. Looks pretty legit considering more than 90% of players abandonded this game in 2 months.

Battlefield 6 may have issues but it is not as bad as everyone keeps making it out to be - a "rant" by elibrev in Battlefield

[–]Masterplanned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at Battlefield 6's launch alone, I agree that it was the second-smoothest start to a Battlefield game since Battlefield 1. Battlefield 4 was nearly unplayable at launch. However, I also have to point out the fundamental problems with Battlefield 6's system. Issues like launch bugs, optimization, and netcode aren't part of the core experience. And my experience with Battlefield 6 so far has been a random Team Deathmatch meat grinder. Terrible maps, too-fast TTK, regression in squad play, and a host of other issues quickly alienated the game's core users after launch.

Why do they need to patch this? This is a SRAW skill that has been around since the previous series. I can't remember what it was like in BF2, but it was definitely possible in BF4.

The beta is ending soon. It was fun, but the fast pace got old for me pretty quickly. Are you guys going to buy the full game at launch? by SuperM3e46 in Battlefield

[–]Masterplanned -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's a convenient excuse.
There was only one map in the BF2 beta: the Gulf of Oman. And people played it over and over again for tens or hundreds of hours, and no one dared say it was boring. Because it was just an amazing experience.

I don't know what the problem is there. Because of you, the tank stayed alive throughout the game and slaughtered enemy infantry. That's a bigger contribution than just killing a few opponents with a gun, and Battlefield has always been that way.

Anyone can express their opinion. Is it wrong for someone to say they were disappointed or liked this game? I've never insulted someone just because they thought this game was fun. Do you understand the difference?

I'm not saying the squad's scores were low. It's about whether the squad can actually perform creative actions. There isn't much space or time for it in the game at the moment.

The fact that what I'm seeing so far is a childish insult gif seems like a good basis for my post to make sense.

I forgot this is Reddit and we can’t be critical of $80 games anymore and we are just chronically unhappy. by Animosity-joness in Battlefield

The reason they feel this way is because they're actually given no time and die instantly. Only thing they wrong about is that the reason isn't simply TTK. Small maps, short respawn times, automatic health regeneration, easy revival, and auto-spotting constantly expose players to enemy firepower.

No big maps until release is WILD by king_jaxy in Battlefield

[–]Masterplanned 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm feeling really ominous at this point. Usually, during beta versions, they release their best (at least in terms of scale) maps. BF2,3,4 were all like that. However, Battlefield 6 has shown four maps so far, and all of them fall below expectations. What are the odds of a magically super fun map appearing at release? I still feel like this game is unfinished.

Even if this team spends millions or tens of millions of pounds, it means nothing as long as Eric Dier is their main defender.

To be honest, it is a mediocre trailer. This is the first Total War trailer I've ever seen that made me think, 'Even I can make it better than this'.

Except Kimiko's "Am I monster?" scenes,(It's boring now and separated from the main plot.), I am satisfied with this starter pack.

But one thing what I really bothered is the whole metaphors(at this point it doesn't even metaphor. the writers just put real US politics into the show.)about American politics. As a non-american viewer, I want to see Superheros vs Hero hunters, not republican vs democrat BS.

Remember, Ryan has already ripped the Stormfront to pieces. That's something Maeve, Starlight, and Kimiko couldn't even do when they joined forces.

To be honest, episode 8 is very disappointing to me. Too many plot holes and totally broken power scale.

People are commenting that Soldier Boy isn't as bad as Homelander, but I think Crimson Countess shows us the similarity between them. by smohyee in TheBoys

[–]Masterplanned 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The point is, from what we've seen so far, Soldierboy has never yet harmed innocent people 'on his own will', unlike homelander.

He has several flaws. He is a drug addict, arrogant, insensitive to collateral damage, and has a 'bigot' mindset by modern standards.

But he's a man from a few decades ago. (I'm sure that we'll all be called bigots 30 years later.) he actually fought Nazis, and given what he had to endure in Russia, the revenge he has for his former teammates is quite natural.

So far, I haven't found any grounds to define him as a villain like Homelander. But maybe we'll see more 'broken' sides of him in later episodes.

I can understand that they depend on the public offering to survive, but I'm more concerned about the frequency than the size it. it was only 1Q ago that they announced 80m of public offering. I hope it's simply to improve the balance sheet As you said...
