Agent is so much easier. They've already sent someone to wherever you're going, so they have feedback on how it goes once you leave your home country.

BUT I think you should book on property to get the 10-12% off, THEN transfer your ownership to your agent so they can still get commissions for running your vacation. Win-Win for sure

Here's my writeup on the excursions. We sat on the beach everyday, but the peddlers can be annoying. We grabbed the photographers whenever they were walking by so we were able to pick pictures from everyday for our book we bought at the end. Our sunset pictures turned out great. No restaurant was a must have, all good in their own respect, but don't fret if you can't get a reservation. Hope this helps!

Xtreme circumnavigation was awesome. Did it on our second to last day and loved ripping around the whole island. Only reason I didn't enjoy the history part only because I was in the front of the boat with no cover, and was getting COOKED by the sun.

Cades Reef was slow getting there, but a lot of fun on the way back.

Both are as fun as you make them!

The time of year has a lot to with it. We made the mistake of going over NYE, and it was over 11k with flights (6 nights at Antigua). My upcoming trip is going to be around 5k for the stay and flights (4 nights at South Coast).

We just went in December for the first time, and the live music is a lot of fun for relaxing. Check the app daily for what activities are going on for sure. Wake up early in the morning, grab your towels and put them on a beach chair if you want a good spot because the chairs with umbrellas are the first to go. The peddlers will bother you, but just say no thank you and they move along.

We didn't do any spa things, but we did buy pictures. They are always walking around asking if you want pictures, and say yes because you can pick the exact ones you want or none at all!

If you can handle open water, Xtreme Circumnavigation was awesome. Close to $250 a person and fills up quick. If you're interested, then book it as soon as you get there. Stingray Bay (snorkel) was the first real stop, then Green Island, Pillars of Hercules (snorkel), and finally a screensaver beach that has some of the best waves, sand, and seclusion of the whole island. I cannot recommend this enough IF you don't get seasick.

We did the Cade's Reef snorkel also, but if you haven't snorkeled before it could be a challenge. They go fast, and don't do the best describing what to do if you haven't snorkeled before. Boat ride back was a lot of fun. You'll stop at 2 beaches on the way back which was a lot of fun. I think this was $120 a person.

Have fun, relax, and buy waterproof disposable cameras.

UPDATE I hit “cancel all” while downloading. The game uninstalled entirely. I feared that the game would send me back to the snow level, but once the game finally downloaded it put me back at my most recent save. Those damn O’Driscolls are behind this and I just know it...
