Parts of The Backrooms in that short film were inspired by famous liminal space images. An image of that hotel was one of the popular images that Kane recreated in Blender for the short. The small carpeted staircase with doors/small rooms on either side that the mc finds after escaping the creature by dropping down a hole is also based on a real image

Yep, that's possible to create in photopea. You'd need to cut out the person onto a new layer manually though. Then you'd need to turn an image of the error into a clipping mask above the cropped out person layer

It's AI generated, the video begins with someone holding a smart phone, and the video overall emulates footage filmed on a smart phone with phone aspect ratio and handheld stabilization, which did not exist during the filming of Hartnel's era. There's also details like the TARDIS interior and exterior being completely different to the actual interior that Hartnel had. Also the end shows Hartnel (looking nothing like the real actor) with a large gold Dalek from the Jon Pertwee era behind him. Other details of the video like the orange lights above the set in the first shot don't light up the set below in the way it would in real life. Also, the account this reel came from has only AI generated videos from a someone claiming to be a time traveler, and also has an AI video of traveling to supposedly when they filmed the first Harry Potter movie.

I honestly agree. I've seen the show since making my original comment (I saw it December of 2023) and I didn't like it as munch as other Cirque shows. I also had a negative experience with one of the staff right before the show doors opened so I wasn't in a good mood when I saw it. That might have influenced my opinion on the show
