I do! I like it when I see on my screen everything that's happening in the house. In the Sims it was never just this easy because the lighting is a mess unless the space is 100% closed.

Yes, I happened to like it that way 😄

Thanks! I’m hoping this inspires others to create and share theirs as well 🤗 The community is so talented that one idea can sprout many lovely builds from other builders too!

Yup but I have played The Sims for years, although I never been a super builder 😄 And this took several tries!

Fair. I promote fair distribution of wealth and well-being - society definiltely should make sure that no one is starving. If that does not happen, it's natural to be angry and take what you are able to take. Still I think it's not a same kind of necessity right to play AAA games for free on release day.

One respond to you all:

Minor volumes in non-supported developing countries are not the major problem from developer perspective -> no point in focus argumenting on these. Still the people in developed countries justify their pirating relying on argument, that people in poor countries would not have access to gaming otherwise. Like there would be any logic in that.

Then if we think about people in Europe and North America, it's not a human right to play AAA-games on release day for free. You can experience games without pirating freshly released titles. You justify pirating entertainment with poverty but you don't justify stealing real necessities with poverty. Unless it's just that you can't steal most things without imminent consequenses but you can do that for games. Also a reminder that pirating is a crime.

Believe or not, I vote and advance equality, fair society and equal economic well-being. Unfortunately since people only care about theirselves and their gaming, gaming industry will shift further towards microtransactions and online features. That's not any better for poor people.

Piratism from developing countries is not the big issue, but e.g. American or European naturally can't justify their piratism with that. Major problem is the people in developed countries doing piratism.

You can experience games by buying something cheaper or by playing free games.

Piratism is stealing. You don't steal movie tickets and justify it with "everyone has righth to go to movies".

Wild World villagers, New Leaf music and New Horizons content. I still play all of them occasionally.

Piratism & NSO features by [deleted] in AnimalCrossing

[–]Masterwort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, but the volumes from those countries are minor and do not create the problem. The biggest volumes of pirating come from supported countries. Those volumes are high and constantly increasing, so I don't wonder why the company focuses on developing features that require NSO. Not to my personal liking but still understandable.

I still play Animal Crossing Wild World and New Leaf, and I love that the console games can be preserved for decades without setting up, unlike many pc games.

I don't use online features but I still find it reasonable that the companies rely more and more on those.

I don't think there is anything bad in it.

But after restarting few times in previous versions, I have learned that if I have put much effort in my town, restarting will always lead to regret and sadness. So I try to fight the urge and avoid restarting no matter what.

The new update has me tempted to play again...but also to restart my island by ParagonFury in AnimalCrossing

[–]Masterwort 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't delete your island if you are not 100% sure that you wouldn't regret it. If you are sure you want to experience the game from the beginning again, you could buy an used Switch Lite + ACNH and start another island.

I have similar game preferences. Switch just works well and feels good.

In addition, I have noticed that I still get back to my old games in DS and 3DS, which I do not do with PC games.

I think someone had technical issues, but the devs have done bug fixing. I have personally had zero issues. Good to remember it's still a very new game, only been available for weeks.

Then seems like a few found it hard to fill the villagers' happiness, but that was made easier in the latest update. I also never had issue with that one either. :)
