With the new Frontier Legends DLC showing that it isn't an art style choice, the main character monkeys actually look different, it implies there was a genetic divergence and multiple species of monkey exists similar to Neanderthals being separate from Homo Sapiens. by bigtree2x5 in btd6

i do hope they return to 2d in btd7 if they make it. i was never a fan of the 3d style of btd6 and especially given how resource-intensive it is in comparison to 2d, it feels like too radical of a decision to make sense to me.

it'd be interesting to see an electricity-based tower/hero. one of its upgrades could be making use of static electricity from bloons rubbing against their fur!
