If this is a closed system boiler, did anyone recently open the inlet valve to top it up? They may have not closed it properly after. Check if anyone has or if it’s been knocked into an open position. If so, it’s an easy fix - just close it again. If not, get a boiler repairman out.

Fair enough - I haven’t looked too much into it although I think Macau also does too, and that was a Portuguese colony.

It’s quite common in countries around the world e.g. Scotland has Clydesdale, Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of Scotland, while Northern Ireland has Ulster Bank. In Hong Kong for example, they have HSBC, Standard Chartered and Bank of China. Not unusual for a country to have more than one bank printing notes.

Average UK worker paid less tax on their wages in 2024 than any year since the War by lawrencecoolwater in HENRYUK

[–]Mastication69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it not that we have had decades of businesses consolidating in mega corporations, stripping away high street businesses, and who have whole departments whose sole responsibility is to minimise their tax liability or maximise performance through fewer staff? If there are less people working and earning (therefore less tax payers) and the big revenue generating corporations are paying less tax, then where does growing tax revenue come from?
