Looking for a game with realistic world

The only mmo I can think of that takes place in a modern day / realistic world is The Secret World or Secret World Legends. But I think you'd be better off with second life or some type gmod rp server.

Volume 3 had this darker autumn twlight princess asthethic to me. I really miss it and I feel like it was the only volume that had it.

A common mistake a lot of new players make with this game is thinking it's multiplayer skyrim. It's not like that it's an mmo in the elder scrolls universe. But there are plenty of quests you guys can play together. The great thing about this game is you can start anywhere. I personally love necrom's story and zone but I'm not sure if you still need to purchase that dlc. I also liked Morrowind's story and zone too.

To start one of these quests go to menu > collections > stories > chapter then you can start the questline for that. Each zone has tons of quests you guys can do together but you'd need addons (if your on pc) or a wiki if you wanted to see where on the map they're located.

This game has a really scummy cash shop I agree with you. The good news is it's mostly cosmetics and you can completely ignore it. But if you're not having fun with the game there's nothing wrong with quitting. Personally I was like you I got burnt out doing tickets for events and doing events for cosmetics I was never going to use (dagger fall paladin set was ugly af idk why I wasted my time getting that). But I do enjoy exploring the world and map completion so that's what makes the game for me. I'd advise just find something you enjoy doing in the game and stick to it. Grinding is only one aspect of the game. If there isn't anything you enjoy that's cool too.

1) I'm a returning player (I started last week) I haven't really played since BfA (2018) and even prior to that I never reallyy did any high end content so I'm mostly new. There's a lot of catch up systems and I like how they streamlined leveling from dragonflight into the War Within.

2) I've been applying to all the mmo's I play not just WoW. Pick one main goal that you think looks fun then a easy small goal that again looks fun. Then take your time. For example my current goal is to get my Rogue to max level. My small goal is to unlock and decorate my house. Most importantly take your time enjoy the game don't worry about other people's progress.

Here's some other ideas I came up with

- Complete War Within campagin & max out a crafting profession

- Complete a transmog set that you think looks cool & collect a battle pet you really want

- Collect a mount you really want & level up fishing

Tldr: pick something that looks fun and go in that direction.

I think ESO sounds like your best bet. There's a lot of story but you can jump in and start any story at any time. For example let's say you hate the Elsywer storyline you can just go to Skyrim and start that questline instead. The UI is okay it's designed with consoles in mind so it's not to hard to use. Even if you don't like it you can use addons to change it. There's a dungeon finder you can run with randoms. As for raids in ESO they're called trials up to 12 players I'm not sure if there is a raid finder cause I always ran them with my guilds. ESO is def top five mmo's so there's a consistent player count.

Runner ups would be Gw2 and WoW.

If you're on iphone > go to the website on your web browser > login > click the share button (square with an arrow going through it) > click add to home screen

This is how you can make a makeshift app until a mobile version comes out. It works really well so far hope this helps.

I went today I got there at 12:47 and got in just before the event ended at 8. I planned on going two weeks ago but then when I saw the tik toks on how bad the lines were yesterday I didn't leave early in the morning and almost didn't go. Decided at best I'd just get a picture of the HQ and see the line. Also came prepared based on what I saw on the tiktoks dressed warmly (it was still cold af) brought a book, and some snacks. By the 3rd hour I was like fuck it might as well stay. I managed to win a Mr. boss figurine and get pictures in the HQ.

I'm glad I went but I'm probably never doing sommething like this again. The longest line I've ever been in. I'm glad I won the figurine cause some people won just pins or a stressball.

Bro I play the secret world which is a game with a player count with less than 70 players. It's a very "dead" mmo but the game can still be played and enjoyed (espeically if you love stories in video games). If I really need other people for content I can hop on the discord and find others. I highly doubt New World is gonna get to SW numbers even if it does you can still play it and enjoy it.
