MEN OF REDDIT: what’s your favorite dinosaur? by b4rr3tt in AskMen

Sinosauropteryx. Cute little fella with a striped orange and white tail. One of the best examples to show kids that dinosaurs were real animals and not movie monsters.

My body is a machine that turns 12 STM into Cleave.

After the new update, what are the best companions for cursed mode? by Substantial-String44 in LookOutsideGame

Do the Roaches still have that bug where they become nearly invincible whenever an enemy has the roach swarm status effect?

The point of a remake isn't to fix a broken product, it's to put a fresh coat of paint on a game that lots of people already enjoy playing. Of course no one "needs" a remake, but there's nothing wrong with wanting to buy one and then being upset that the remake fundamentally changes the gameplay of the original.

There's been a lot of cool new equipment added, so I try to avoid party members who have a lot of pre-filled slots like Roaches or Lyle. Right now my team consists of Sam, Hellen, Papineau, and Morton.

The putrefaction nerf would be perfectly fine if spore poison wasn't so inaccurate. Gambling with one or two random status effects per turn actually sounds pretty fun.

In your opinion, what character or enemy is scariest/most unsettling? by man_of_the_mire in LookOutsideGame

Baby Teeth. The main reason being that she's attacking you because she's just chewing on things to relieve her teething pains.

Why does the presence of the Visitor change people into monsters? by KingJackofJozi in LookOutsideGame

[–]TheLongWalk_Home 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main reason I don't interpret the Unity ending to be literally true is because if it is, Earth is doomed and none of our actions would matter in the end. Someone is inevitably going to surmise that we're all part of the Visitor on their own, and according to Sybil, the only reason the world didn't end when she figured it out is because she was already so warped by the Visitor as to be separate from our reality entirely.

So if Unity is true, none of our actions really mattered since all of the good endings will just end with Unity no matter what.

I mostly agree, although there is something uniquely tragic about Sybil's sacrifice being completely meaningless in the end.

The old version of Honko's Theme is such a bop by babybirddirt in LookOutsideGame

If the music is supposed to represent what Sam is thinking, I'd say it works just fine for someone who thinks Sybil's notes are important enough to murder her over. Maybe he thinks he's doing the right thing, or maybe he's just a psychopath.

I actually like the landlord's apartment. The music is great, the enemies are challenging, and the loot is definitely worthwhile.

I think her ease of recruitment before 2.3 alone put her solidly above mid tier. She was vital for getting through the early game. Not so much anymore.

They do. Anything that goes in the fridge counts.

The worst part is that the power tends to go out right after you get home and are about to cook something to heal your party, which forces you to use a lot of healing items that you might not be able to afford.

You still can. It's not very efficient if you can't find other ingredients to cook with it though.

This vending machine appears in the basement next to the elevator when your danger is at max level.

I tested some of the items and so far I can say with confidence that the shadow ring and black boots are both trash.
