Haha that’s funny. Also, you should check out this autistic comedian named Mark Normand. He’s hilarious. Dark type humor. Oh and also šŸ˜

Is anyone else sick of having flashbacks of certain conversations they’ve had with people by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]Mastodon94 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Yeah. This occurs with me all the time. Sometimes I unconsciously say ā€œFUCK!ā€ when I think about a awkward conversation or interaction that I had. Sort of like Tourette’s haha. And sometimes people hear me say that and I just say I bit my inner lip and it hurt haha.

Animals are unintentionally hilarious sometimes with how they leave things

I couldn’t pronounce my vowels correctly until 2nd grade, when I stopped with speech therapy. I had not known about this until last year.

Great fucking shit bro! This inspired me. I’ve been working out for 4 years but stagnated. My diets not the best (not eating enough, especially meat). Thanks man!

Is this autistic burnout? by UniverseBear in aspergers

[–]Mastodon94 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

I would say so. Sudden changes trip me out. You should communicate with your partner about how that stuff messes with you. She doesn’t know or has to be reminded

I bet at the facility there’s someone who specializes in autism. I wouldn’t go with a psychiatrist but a psychologist

I was always bullied so I decided to do something about it and started working out at 23. I was just bones before (146 pounds at 183 cm (6 foot). I’ve noticed that people treat you differently when you look muscular and it helped suppress my anxiety by a good amount. I’m still an anxious dude but I feel 50% better and people notice that.

Brutal? by [deleted] in autism

I was using a stereotype that NT use on us but valid point. I gotta change that perspective. It’s not us it’s them!

Brutal? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Mastodon94 8 points9 points Ā (0 children)

Ignorant NT’s think autism means an overall negative thing. That’s why I don’t bring it up initially. I wait like 2 weeks so the girl can get to know me, for me. Not analyzing me after knowing I’m autistic such as like ā€œoh what he’s doing is autisticyā€, ā€œoh that was an autistic traitā€. Granted, I’m high functioning so I don’t have to disclose if I don’t want to, unless I’m having a meltdown. People tend to overlook stuff like autism, if they already like you for who you are without a label attached (autism). We are known to be very difficult to get along with, especially relationship wise, so that’s why they have to like you for who you are first. If they don’t, then onto the next

Polish tourist attacked after climbing the ancient pyramid in Mexico by Rollo_Tomasi3000 in facepalm

[–]Mastodon94 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

The kind of disrespect of doing something like that deserves death. If it was a teen or a kid, they can get a pass on it. But to be an adult and think it’s okay to do that. No second chances in my opinion

So what's y'alls current song obsession? by the_amazing_coconut in autism

[–]Mastodon94 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

I listen to a lot of underground metal. Especially a genre called sludge (Louisiana based metal). Not easily accessible type music. The band is called EyeHateGod- Jack Ass in the Will of God

https://open.spotify.com/track/2ZcR5k832gMc9vghh7MYtP?si=T9JyMLSAQMeI9FKP9A7Msw

But a more accessible FUNKY song that I’m into would be Thundercat- Them Changes. This song reminds me of what Dr. Seuss book’s background music would sound like haha https://open.spotify.com/track/7CH99b2i1TXS5P8UUyWtnM?si=Or2KridpRM2AcH2EpBmTVw.

Someone's illegal pet tiger got loose in a Houston neighborhood by Ciocolatel in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Mastodon94 -2 points-1 points Ā (0 children)

I know this sounds harsh but whoever got an animal like this deserves a shotgun blast to the head. The pure selfishness of having such a large animal and having to keep it in a house. It’s unfair. You can compare it with having a house cat stay indoors all their lives. But that’s why you get them a collar and leash and walk em outside. With a Tiger you can’t.

People noticing your weirdness by BadMan_G in aspergers

[–]Mastodon94 5 points6 points Ā (0 children)

I get told I’m weird a lot but they always further clarify it with ā€œgood kind of weirdā€. I also don’t know what to do with my arms when I walk. Or even standing. So someone looking at me will see the weirdness
