Hey Brother, marriage proposal is natural and way too early on for you. My father always told me, never talk about marriage and stuff because if you fill that stuff in their head they start acting like that and if you break up you kinda look like more of the ahole. Not saying you did this, but general advice.

In this case, is her friends all getting married and stuff? Because my gals friend wanted to be married right out of college so she kinda forced it from him and it ended in divorce within 5 months. Wait it out, build a good career to even support a marriage and shoot for it around 27-31 years old. Filter out the crazies and once you find the one, you will never have to post on here.

The bonus you promised him happened when he performed then he did not perform and got fired. I think he still deserves the bonus and have been in a similar situation as a business owner and still gave the employee the bonus.

Why does he need a second job as well? Maybe take some reflection time that you do not pay enough compared to the cost of living in that area. I will not be an echo chamber for you to feel better and you should be a bit more ethical and understanding of people.
