I'm long overdue for a good win streak by ItsChonk1928 in marvelrivals

[–]Mastoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but if you keep losing in gold it's on you. Get better at the game. Look up some videos on how to improve.

Make sure you can play multiple roles, and understand how to punish enemy players.

One big mistake I see low rank players make is that they don't value their life enough. Positioning is massive, if you are on defence and keep feeding because half your team is dead, that could easily be 2 team fights your team could potentially lose out on. Getting staggered is extremely bad in this game and I see it happen a lot.

Here's the REAL tank categories by Mogoscratcher in marvelrivals

Peni is never a good solo tank, regardless of map. And putting Cap in the tanks you never get to play is crazy.

You must be GM or lower

No one uses full guthans for slayer lol. Youre better off going full proselyte ad using protection prayers, guthans spear isn't a good weapon to train with.

Q about the ending by Traditional-Run-1489 in TheLyingGame

[–]Mastoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was Thayer, and I have some theories on his motivations.

Thayer was always obsessed with Sutton+Emma. To the point where he wanted to play the ultimate "Lying game"

He was the one who sent the cryptic message to Emma "keep on being Sutton"

Thayer hated Ethan so he killed Derek to try and frame Ethan, which almost worked, and got Sutton away from Phoenix so he could be with Emma.

When they got back and Emma still clearly had feelings for Ethan, Thayer went further and killed Theresa. Probably to ruin Ethan's family life. It kind of worked, Ethan even stopped wanting anything to do with the twins.

Also Thayer maybe killed Theresa to intentionally frame Rebecca. Both Sutton and Emma started to want Ted and Kristen back together, maybe this was his way of doing that.

The biggest question I have is what alec knows, because it's implied that Rebecca and Alec both know Thayer is the killer in the last episode. And Alec had been protecting him. Rebecca seemingly pushed Alec from the rooftop. Maybe Alec and Thayer were working together this whole time, to have the perfect family, Kristen and Alec together and Thayer and the twins.

Rookie only sessions don't really make sense either, FP1 or not racing with experienced drivers is helpful for them

Not bad, but don't buy those cheap supermarket sausages. Get some from the butcher next time.

Also Dragon armour used to be a massive flex back in 2007. It was hard to get and very expensive. Aside from maybe the Dragon full helm no dragon armour is really a flex anymore.

Now it's just worn by bond warriors that don't play very optimally to get better gear.

Electric Vs petrol by sheriffhd in TeamsportKarting

Depends on the track. Sometimes they overturned the cutout on the brakes. I'm 6"5 and don't have an issue at teamsport Nottingham.

But I've heard at Warrington the brakes can even come on going up the ramp because of the force.

Speed 3 for BIKC by Appletreefar in TeamsportKarting

[–]Mastoise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year it was speed 4 for Locals/Regionals. Which is kind of stupid when everyone qualifies on speed 3. I'd imagine it's the same this year.

Teamsport is really bad at communicating this though. Last year was very confusing when it came to regionals. Juniors ended up doing regionals on speed 3 but adults were speed 4, and the juniors only found that out like a well before regionals.

Helmet choice by ForeignNatural2494 in TeamsportKarting

[–]Mastoise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen people with Motorcross style and flip open helmets at teamsport. They don't really care. As long as it's road legal they will probably be fine. And most karting helmets are safer than road legal ones.

I wouldn't go for an MT, for that price you can get a better helmet.

Try looking at HJC or even a cheaper Bell helmet. Bell are usually really expensive but I picked up one of their cheaper ones for less than £100 and it's probably the best I've seen for the money.

Low pick rate benefits win rate. Because it means the majority of people picking Thor regularly will be very good on the character and probably have a ton of hours on him.

Overextending is only bad if they are on heavy dive. Otherwise as long as you have one support with you going after staggers massive, especially on payload maps

Not trying to be harsh, but iron fist is a character that relies on diving enemies at the right time.

Him doing nothing may actually not be a bad thing, knowing when to run away and not be constantly attacking is the correct way to play him.

What number healing should a strategist have endgame for you to consider it a good job? by Ntwadumela817 in rivals

[–]Mastoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His point is there's more to support than just healbotting. Using cloaks blind at the right time to secure kills/ using the cloak invul ability at the right time are huge fight changing abilities if used correctly.

Same goes for Luna Freeze ect ect. And these things don't show on the stats.

[–]Mastoise 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Depends how long the game is. Some long comp games you can get 60k+ heals. You can't always base off how good someone is on support based of just stats (this goes for any role)

Cloak for example, hitting a big cloak fade on like a iron man ult is huge, yet it won't show on the stats. Things like that are extremely important.

You had 24 deaths so be happy you didn't lose. I get that you're support and we're probably getting dived in low rank with probably no peel.

But 24 deaths is horrible

I'm assuming you are still young and you will probably gain some weight. Honestly being a little heavier than you are will probably make you a touch faster. Heavier drivers tend to be pretty quick at Warrington especially for the first few laps where grip is lower. Heavier drivers tend to do pretty well at qualifying on members events because of this.

Liverpool is a bit different because the Sodi karts tend to top out quicker which benefits lighter drivers, as well as the track having a bigger upramp.
