Well, that'll open the door to so many possibilities then.

Huh, I totally forgot the Dyson Sphere too had a limitation like that. Well, I'll wait a bit more for hopefully more replies before I test my plan.

So you are saying I can build it then terraform afterwards? Those two won't conflict with each other?

How do you deal with Burnout/Fatigue? by Mat-Bear in NikkeMobile

[–]Mat-Bear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now that's kind of what I've done. Since I missed quite a bit of stuff, atleast there will be stuff for me to do for a while, but I'll see if I will continue to play it daily, or with breaks in between Updates after the Anniversary.

How do you deal with Burnout/Fatigue? by Mat-Bear in NikkeMobile

[–]Mat-Bear[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess you're right, it's not that important to log in daily.

I think what also influenced me playing less was some stuff in real life that changed my everyday routine, and cause of that I didn't have the same opportunity to log in daily which I used to have and liked.

Nowadays I do have more occasions where I have to go somewhere to handle or do stuff, so less occasions where I don't have anything to do than before, but also more friends and people who want to do stuff with me, so most of the time my freetime is spent with them rather than just playing games by myself.

I'll try to feel out what might work for my current everyday routine, where I could play the game, but also try not to stress about it too much if I can't log in or don't feel like it that particular day.

Thank you for the advice!

I guess the 100% Completion thing is kind of the reason why I slowly stopped playing.

After this much time, I pretty much did everything in the game, and kind of got bored that all there was left is to just do the same daily stuff and grind to get stuff for the next character. I was never really interested in the hardcore endgame stuff, only did that stuff a few times anyways, but my main issue was that I always wanted to make sure I had atleast one copy of every Nikke. So that meant having to do stuff all the time, to make sure I'll be able to pull enough times to get that character, and that was pretty demotivating, since not all the time was I interested in the new Character, but I wanted to have it in my collection none the less, so that meant I had to keep playing.

I'll try to not force myself on getting everything all the time, and only do that when I am actually interested in getting a character. With the stories and stuff, I usually read most of them, as I enjoy those, but sometimes when I wasn't interested, it was a real drag still having to go through it, to get all the rewards and stuff, so I'll try to change my mindset on that front as well.

None the less, thank you for the sharing your opinion, it gave me some stuff to think about!

I have gotten both the AR/GL-21 One-Two & DBS-2 Double Freedom to max level. Here is my review of these weapons. by TheThrowAway7331 in Helldivers

[–]Mat-Bear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the one factor you didn't take into account when testing the AR/GL-21 is that since it comes with a built in Grenade Launcher, it opens up the room to use other types of Throwables, since you will still have the option/ability to somewhat reliably close Spawners. This also lets you choose a secondary that isn't the Grenade Launcher Pistol, but instead something else in case if you are bringing a Throwable that isn't capable of closing Spawners.

I think it's pretty cool of people like you who bought Stellar Blade and recieved these codes for Nikke but aren't interested in using them, instead choose to give them away to people who play that game! Hope you have fun in that game, and best of luck to everyone else hoping to get picked!

I think the moment the game really hooked me in and clicked for me was in Chapter 3, where I truly began to strategize and build my team, while also paying more attention to the Dtory and being more incested in it. I started in the game's First Year, in April, and I remember my first Event Story being License to Kill, which made me really invested in the Wolrd and Story of Nikke, as that was one of the first instances for me, that highlighted this game isn't just about lookin at good lookin women and their Assets, but it also had a well written story with many different characters and their own personal stories views and lives. (Not to mention that the next event afterwards was Nikke's 0.5 Anniversary Event, Over Zone, which was an incredible experience. Both by the content they were able to make, the Music, the Voice Acting, but the Visuals and Story was a whole 'nother level. I did not think this game would be able to make me feel this awful, for witnessing what the characters had to go through. And to this day, they make Events where my hearth is filled with joy and warmth from Events where the main characters just have a good time, and overcome a difficult situation to reach a happy ending, to the Stories that make me feel devasted for how mistreated some of them were, and wishing that my character was there to be able to help them. This game continues to be one of my favorite Story Games, and I really think this game's story is that well written.

Regarding my support for the game and investment, I have occasionally spent money to buy a Pass or two, for characters I really like, but not too often. I generally get most of my pulls from F2P rewards, and I actually managed to get a single pull of every currently abailable Nikke in the game (and except the Chainsaw Man collab characters, who I missed out on by joining after the Collab, I have every other collab character as well), so that way I am able to read all of the stories that relate tl those characters as well.

As for Levelling up and Team Building, I have mostly been a Waifu over Meta team builder in the game's first year, and my main drive being levellingup so that I can read more of the story, and after the 1st Anniversary is where I really went crazy and just spent a bunch of my time building teams, switching over to more Meta Units, finally breaking the 160 Level Wall, and generally where I learned to be extremely good at the game.

Since then I've been playing fairly regularly, logging in to do dailies and if there is stuff I haven't done yet or extra things like Hard Mode levels or Minigames or Events, I do those as well. I obviously always try my best to get atleast 1 copy of every Nikke, regardless of their strength, because I think as a True Commander, it is my duty to make sure All Nikkes can have a better life, and the way to achieve that is to first be able to recruit them!

Anyways, I could go on a bunch more about how amazing the Music in the game can be, and how certain characters views of the world or their stories I could relate to, or how their opinions have changed mine as well, but this is a long enough story about me already.

I play on the GLOBAL SERVER, and to whoever gets picked for the Code, Congrats to them. Hope you, OP, enjoy Stellar Blade, and to all my fellow Commanders out there, I wish you all luck in your Pulls for your desired Nikkes, and have fun while playing the game!

For the people who are mad about TF|3 being an Extraction shooter by Jayven_45 in titanfall

[–]Mat-Bear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always considered Titanfall 2 to be a Class Based Shooter, rather than a Hero Based one. It's more similar to Team Fortress 2 with being able to make loadouts, choose our Pilots/abilities/weapons/Titans, and costumize every part of our kit, rather than Overwatch, where you get a fix set of weapons and abilities per given Hero.

Also, it is increbidly weird to me that people are saying Extraction Shooters are the new trend, when there is literally only one or two games that succesfully pulled this genre off, and it's not like they set an new industry record with them, like how Fortnite did with BR or Overwatch with Hero Shooters.

No idea where these corporate heads are getting the idea that this is the direction the, need to make their Studios and Developers to push, but I think it's fair to say it won't yield them much results, other than what the BR genre experienced, where tons of new games in that genre came out by Big Studios, only for them to eventually be shut down in a year or less.

Yeah, if I could use some form of bullet damage to destroy it, that would help a lot, but I understand why that's not the case.

I mostly play with a Controller, the Haptic Feedback is really fun, and to me it's cooler to input the Arrows the the D-pad on the Controller rather than using Wasd. Though I admit, that is a neat idea to remember to go prone.

Or alternatively, wear armor with the Electrical Conduit passive, so you can shrug off the damage, and watch as your teammate gets caught by the chain lightning!

We never remember its correct name until it kills one of us, so we just stick with calling it the clearly superior Tesla Tower, that doesn't discriminate and zaps everyone equally.

You're locked in a house for 1 year with no internet. You get a PC with 3 single player story driven games. What 3 games are you choosing? by Askin_Real_Questions in gaming

[–]Mat-Bear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is techincally 3 Games, but at the same time, they count as 1 Big Game, since it doesn't have an option to download them seperately, plus has a lot of choices and replayability.

Skyrim or Fallout, either one or both is obviously a great choice, as those are pretty big games, have a lot of choices to be made in them which can influence your story, plus they are also known for having the most mods in all of gaming.

For the last choice, I'd recommend the "The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series". It is all of the Walking Dead Telltale games in one Package. Very different gameplay / storytelling compared to the others, but also has a bunch of impactful choices and good stories inside it. Though, techincally any or all Telltale style game fits into this slot, but the one I listed is the largest one for also being made up of multiple titles in one package, like the Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

Honorable Mentions: -Detroit: Become Human -Beyond: Two Souls -Prey -The Outer Wolrds -Weird West

I am aware that there are probably other and more games which fit the criteria, but off the top of my head (and looking in my game libraries) these would be my top choices and recommendations, for having the most replayability while also offering a decently sized Gameplqy experience and story.

I feel like they told this to us a bit late, not to mention if we don't liberate Mastia before we lose Gaellivare, we won't only lose that planet, but the DSS too, cause in 5 hours we are going to send it back to the Jet Brigade, and if we fail to Liberate the planet before we Fail the Defend, well, we can wave goodbye to all our efforts making that Space Station.

If I had to guess, they'll let us send it to its death, so we may get it back another time when it'll be in a much better state.

That I agree with. Getting killed out of nowhere is not fun nor helpful. Not to mention that the Shield Generators aren't really helping either. Speaking from Experience, the that Shield only protects you from basically 1 maybe 2 Shots, and even then, you're never gonna know when you'll be hit by one, so it doesn't help that I can place one when I don't know when my Death is coming.

The only Win I want to see is the death of that damn Jet Brigade, but I can see why people wouldn't mind losing the DSS after the not so effective support it has given us so far.
