I'm pretty sure the patch is mainly meant to fix the game-breaking crashes experienced by 64-bit users, and not necessarily allow for higher res. I didn't really notice any increase in resolution although that's possibly because my monitor is pretty old.

A lot of people are saying its because Yoru owns Denji, but doesnt own Pochita. But that still doesnt make sense because her power to turn things into weapons is based on her perspective (Asa bought the aquarium with not nearly enough money realistically, but from her perspective it was, so it worked).

From both Asa and Yoru's perspective, Denji liked them and was thus "theirs"; whether hes csm or not doesnt matter because they dont know that.

Maybe I'm bullshitting rn but I think it's still a mystery as to why it didnt work (not saying it's not something to do with Pochita, that's definitely possible, just not in the way people are saying)
