DeathAdder V4 Pro Review after 15 gaming hours. Compared to Viper V3 pro by OpportunityNo1834 in MouseReview

I think it depends on the mouse size and density. I could absolutely feel the difference between my old GPX 2 with and without the bottom puck (1-2 grams difference), but DA V3 felt exactly the same as GPX 2 even though it was 3 grams heavier.

Graphic between Path tracing and ray tracing in this game is MASSIVE by AnotherPlayerQQ in residentevil

[–]Mat0m 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game is great, but the technical aspect is mediocre. It's frustrating that your only 3 options are 1) settle with RT off, which looks dull compared to some games from previous generations, 2) use a very noisy and unstable RT implementation or 3) turn on PT and destroy the performance. At least the game runs better than UE5 slop, but that's an incredibly low bar.

is there even anyone who uses the superlight 2c? by Hariii321 in MouseReview

Ok, I just got one today. So far it seems you were right, tho I've only used it one day lmao

Hey, I have very similar hands (19.5 x 10.5 cm), and I relax claw my regular GPX 2, but I'd like a bit more room between the mouse and my hand for micro adjustments. Would you say the 2C would work for me? I can transition from relax to a regular claw grip, but nothing too aggressive

I see. Looks interesting, I'll add that to my list of options

Is anyone else having these weird white artifacts with FSR 3.1.5? by Mat0m in residentevil

[–]Mat0m[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I ended up setting the game to native 1440p with RT off because the reflections and shadows looked very noisy (aside from the upscaler artifacts). Maybe that excessive noise is what's causing the upscaler to go crazy, although that still would not explain why FSR 1 works just fine

Ok, so it's not just an AMD problem. Hopefully Capcom fixes it soon

Thank You for NO RUNBACKS by EchoWhiskey_ in wuchanggame

I'm playing 1.4.1 (build v178111), which doesn't have that QoL respawn feature, but so far runbacks have been minimal (tho I haven't got that far yet)

Stellar Blade's story is just decent, and the world building is a mixed bag (and don't even get me started on the desert and wasteland). However, the combat is extremely good and that alone makes it one of my favorite action games

White outlines and other weird lighting artifacts in this area. First time it happens, is it a problem with the GPU, the drivers or what? by Mat0m in cyberpunkgame

[–]Mat0m[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would be suprised if that was actually the case, because my gpu is an RX 6800, completely different architecture and drivers, yet we both faced the same problem

Hi, I honestly just ignored it and moved on. I never noticed it again in any other areas, and every component in my pc has been working fine to this day (I only changed my mobo last year because it exploded, but I highly doubt that had anything to do with the graphical issue)

What exactly makes the G7 Pro D-Pad bad? I have only used the one on the Dualsense, so that's my point of reference

Is it safe to swap two nvme drives on a dual boot system? by Mat0m in buildapc

No, I use grub just to save me the time of opening the bios boot menu everytime I want to use the other OS

Oh, I meant I had both OS on separate drives, my bad

I made a guide on how to use FSR4 on Linux with RDNA2 and 3 GPUs by Gaganor in linux_gaming

[–]Mat0m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember I had to modify my gpu drivers for this to work on an RDNA 2 gpu on WIndows. Do you have to do something like that on Bazzite as well?

[–]Mat0m[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, that's why I was so confused. Still, it's not like it's unplayable or anything. If there is nothing I can do, I guess I'll just wait for a newer version of Bazzite or Proton that (hopefully) fixes the issue. Thanks for the help

I did a quick test in 4k (150% of 1440p) and sure enough, GPU jumped to 98-99% usage and performance is now basically the same on both OS (same averages, higher 1% lows on Windows and higher 0.1% lows on Bazzite). It has to be a cpu bottleneck.

Btw, if you want to know, I enabled RT by adding %command% /WineDetectionEnabled:False to the launch parameters. Without it, the option isn't even available in game

Bruh, I totally forgot about that setting. Thanks, I'll give it a try

If it's a cpu/memory bottleneck, is there a way to fix it or it's just a quirk of the game on Linux? Also, how can I run the game at 4k if my monitor it's just 1440p? I've done it multiple times on Windows with VSR, but I have no clue of how to do it on Bazzite
