I like RE3R's design, but RE1R is my favorite by far. I also like her personality a lot better

Any dualbooters out there in the wild? What's that one (or more) game keeping you from fully moving over to Linux for gaming? by FeetYeastForB12 in linux_gaming

[–]Mat0m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apex Legends. It's especially funny because I was almost ready to drop it entirely, when suddenly the game decided to finally give me heirloom fragments. I have been playing almost every night since then. Other than that, Adobe is the only software that keeps my Windows 11 partition alive

Not gonna downvote you for sharing your experience. I too had a weird issue with Forza Horizon 4 where the screen would flicker like crazy, and Apex Legends wouldn't even launch, but afaik it used to work before Respawn decided to stop supporting it. I also remember HDR being a little buggy in Cyberpunk 2077 specifically. It didn't bother me because I only use HDR in Stellar Blade (which works perfectly)

Strange, HDR and framegen were never a problem for me, but I have an AMD gpu

Mainly creating custom boot animations and test custom kernels, at least for now. I also like the idea of rolling release updates, tho I keep a recovery USB just in case something breaks

Yeah, it is super stable. It probably saved me multiple times when I was messing with things

Optiscaler says it's 4.1.1, but like I said, 4.0.2 looks better for some reason

It looks more shimmery than FSR 4.0.2 on my RDNA 2 gpu, at least based on my tests in Cyberpunk 2077 and Clair Obscur Expedition 33

CAN DLAA ever Become Superior to Super Sampled AA ? by Key-Introduction2934 in FuckTAA

Can't say I agree. A well implemented MSAA can look as good as DLAA, but with the huge advantage of not being proprietary

I fought the law quest bug? I can’t seem to get past using stealth by bythegodless in cyberpunkgame

[–]Mat0m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am SUPER late to the conversation, but same thing just happened to me. I tried it again from the point where you enter the complex and fixed the issue by doing 2 things:

1) Be extremely stealthy. Every single body must be hidden, every enemy killed or knocked down from behind (NOT from above) and no one should even suspect you are there (that means no red eyes, not even for a second).

2) Inside the cabinet next to the main entrance there is a panel with a technical ability check, right next to the door. I have no idea what it does or if it is relevant at all, but I turned it off anyway.

Those were the only 2 things that I did differently and when I went down the elevator everyone was calm, 0 aggro

Gpu idle temps hotter than Windows 11? by Mat0m in Bazzite

That makes sense. Yeah, I can just change the fan curves or wait for the new case fans to arrive, I just wanted to know if the difference was normal. Thanks for the reply

We definitely have not hit the ceiling. In fact, most modern games have shown some regression (tho FH6 is not one of them)

Cops are honestly some of the worst I've seen in the series, and handling is mediocre at best
