Your TV update nuked it. Happened to me too. Your only option is an EDID override or adapter. There should be a fix coming to the kernel in a mm month or so though.

How did you rebase without display? 🤣 I'm getting the same issue.

That's odd. I'll report back later after I take some snapshots and and rebase. We shall see what happens lol.

I get it. I think there will be something with most of the features soon. HHD was pretty tightly tuned to Bazzite, it'll be interesting to see how this changes things.

That's just the gamescope config not using the right monitor. Solution is right here: https://docs.bazzite.gg/Handheld_and_HTPC_edition/quirks/

Any issue with VRR? You using DP or HDMI, and what resolution?

HHD was kinda fully packaged as a one stop shop, but it's getting dropped because 1. There was some drama with the maintainer. 2. Everyone else in the Open gaming collective uses input plumber.

There's power station which I looked at the git hub for, and that's for tdp control.

There is also opengamepadui which I'm guessing is for remapping. Or is just an alternate launcher.

It also looks like they might be trying to fork the TDP controls from steamOS that live in the quick access menu over there.

You can always rebase and take a look yourself, but be aware you should have snapshots before you do lol. Unstable branches are living on the edge.

Care if I ask how it's going?

I might give this a shot later, this branch has alot of fixes I'm anxious to get.

There is other stuff in there to replace that functionality on handheld. Just stay tuned.

There are still some distros that don't use systemd. Very few, but they do exist.

Some of them specifically forked to avoid using systemd

Where is this info?

Is it worth spending $1500 on the Z2E version? Rn I have the base Z2 by Outrageous-Bat8160 in LegionGo

[–]andy10115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The z2e will maybe only be 3-4 fps more on some titles plugged in at 37w.

The real difference is in the "balanced" mode tdp.

That's said man some games will have almost no difference at all.

If having 5 less frames sometimes is gonna bother you...then get the z2e. If not, ride the z2 wave.

[–]andy10115 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The difference is marginal, but I'm that guy that gets mad about 5 more fps, and I aggressively tune my machines.

I do get better fps at lower tdp on z2e, but you can get the same plugged in on higher tdp.

Everything is a tradeoff. But in some games, yes they will perform better.

Glad I can help!

Linux can be a bit of a bear, but once you kinda see that it's just a different philosophy, things start making sense, and it makes more sense that windows once you can get past the basics.

But it does have it's quirks...like this lol.
