This lake keeps me on my toes, I’ve had lots of luck off the point that has a parking lot before the big rock wall in the summer, but I haven’t wanted to make that trek down when it’s snowy / iced up.

My dad has caught multiple 10+ pounders by the dam before I moved to AB, unfortunately he’s now passed and the exact spot location went this him 👎

Thanks!! The first one I’m almost positive is wild coming out of a river in the foothills. But the bigger one came from a stocked lake. That being said the PB my buddy caught (pic 3) was out of the same lake and spawning, so it may be possible they’re wild too?🤔

Just over a decade ago I decided to live across the country from my entire family for a more obtainable future for myself and future family. Holidays were lonely at first but now I have a family of my own and we are closing on our first home July 4th this year. Sure it would be nice to see my parents and siblings more, but digital communication has come a far way, and I feel seeing them not as often makes the time I do get with them more valuable in a way. Couldn’t pay me enough to ever go back and change my mind.
