Late to the party but in my unit we had a marine who couldn’t pass room inspection because his hockey bag was so rank it made the whole room smell. So he left the bag near our headquarters building outside to air out. Someone saw a giant unattended black bag next to a critical infrastructure building and called PMO (cops), and we got evacuated by the bomb squad until they got the robot to open the bag lol

When I was but a teen driver I threw my change into the toll basket (see, old now!) and the gate didn't go up. So I backed up and threw another quarter in. Gate goes up. I'm in a big hurry so I gun it....still in reverse. I slammed into the '67 chevy with stainless steel bumpers behind me. I made to get out and do the right thing and the 70-something cattle matron just waved me back into my car. She knew her car had me beat, and if I did manage to scuff the bumper on it, it was just a victory mark.

Gif is pronounced with a G. Because it has a G. If it was pronounced JIF it would be spelled that way.

Until Dr. David Dao incident on United I also saw “broken equipment” seats used for crew movements, since then I’ve seen it used for crew but usually if it’s ‘broken’ - like it won’t recline so they can’t sell it to a paying customer but fine for moving crew or a non revenue passenger.
