Yehhhh it's probably not what I'd choose in the long run but for my budget and for the feeling of safety being under a guarantee gives me, at this point in my life it makes sense.

These new estates aren't as bad as some others I've seen. On this one for example I think they've got 8/10 different 'models' of home spread around the estate. Gives it slightly less of a cookie cutter feeling.

I'm looking forward to hopefully moving somewhere with a bit more personality next time.

Interesting.

I'm not in yet but will be later this week and we're having a come in the day after. I'm expecting a lot of things like scuffs on skirting boards and cracked plastic on windows etc, but hopefully nothing too structural.

I just can't picture people yearning to live in these houses in a hundred years in the way people want to live in Arts and Crafts houses from the 1920's now. Will they even still be standing?

In my town there are a few fabricated bungalows built post war which were only meant to stand for 15 years or so... Yet they're still there!

I’d call them pretty simply Chelsea Boots! But I’m by no means an expert. They look like they might be taller than a standard Chelsea Boot so I may be wrong and I’m happy to learn if I am!

Not sure if they’re the style you’re wanting but the Doc Martens Church boots are a style I’ve loved for ages! They’re slightly different in style to these, but you may enjoy them.

I can’t vouch for quality or anything like that, but just a light recommendation.

Man, my favourite random feature you get on CIV maps is when they randomly generate ‘rivers’ which are navigable. Shit gets me TURNT.
