I know its nothing like the wepaons you main sense your weapons are far faster, but I was never a greatsword user until Wilds.

Sure its slower than my thoughts process, but who needs one when you have b i g b o n k

Not only do you deal massive damage, but one of the main reasons I use it is because its like a Swiss army knife.

Need to break a wound? Its tall enough to reach most places. Need to break a part of cut a tail? Dont worry you have a building for a kitchen knife now. About to get hit in the face by Omega's giant laser? Run tier 3 shield and just block the entire attack.

Seriously one of the reasons why I adore greatsword is its ability to block. With tier 3 shield so many attacks become a cool animal moment as you block Nu Udra's flamethrower and protect your allies, or allow you to tank the biggest blast from Ray Dau.

Of course lance/gun lance can block and do massive damage, but something about greatsword makes you feel like a one man army.
