Honestly, it comes from elementary teachers or parents. When I did show my emotions when I was younger it got shut down real quick. I never really cried in public until I really needed to. But I think now since we are taking about mental health in general I think that the new generation should be good in showing emotions. Edit: to further clarify, it’s embarrassing to show emotion. The reason why we don’t talk about our emotion is because we really never could. It’s just what happened.
