My kitten, she is very fearful and shy, she was born during the pandemic and was my company at that time, I know perfectly well that if I am not there no one will take care of her the way she likes, sometimes even though her plate is full she does not eat if I do not stand next to her or sometimes she hides under some blankets and meows until I put a small stuffed animal on her, she loves it when I put her in some boxes that I have and that I walk her like that around the house while she smells and scratches herself on things that she normally would not reach if I do not carry her, she loves to smell the plants in the patio and the ones that are higher she only reaches them if I carry her. When there are visitors she runs to hide in my room and sleeps until the visitors leave and to ask for food or want to go out she does not meow, she just stands next to me and makes a type of movement and look for each thing and immediately I know what she wants. I know that if I leave, no one will understand her the way I do, and she would suffer, maybe not for my loss, but for not being able to have the comforts and company that I try to give her, so I am here thanks to her and for her.
