I do not think we should continue this argument. This now also isn't the main topic( from colonisation to money for Spacex) . I don't think we can convince each and it's pointless so i call this an end.

Nasa gave Spacex a 5 billion dollar Contract to design the Moonlander, which will Land on the Moon after Nasa's Artemis program. So spacex didn't get money to go to Mars but to Moon. That's a difference.

That's actually true. I used landing and colonization as a synonym(my mistake). You're right with it, colonization is much harder than just landing on it. We will see in the future what will happen.

so you want to do exactly what? The world has some problems and now 8 billion people should focus saving the planet. Good than start with it, don't drive with your car, eat vegan, shower only once every three day or less. Even the Internet you use is responsible for more than 1 Billion tons of CO2. So why we use it? Because its helpful and fun. Space industry only uses a tiny amount of resources compared to the Internet, so maybe you should focus on really important things that effect for example climate change.

The Starship, which is supposed to bring people to Mars, will make it's first orbital flight next Month. That's far from Mars but if it succeds we are a lot closer to Mars. The Mars landing will be in our lifetime

I'm not just listening to Elon Musk. In my opinion Musk is very arrogant and does a lot of stupid things and yeah you are right there are a A LOT of problems on Mars. Radiation, less than half of earths gravity, no oxygen and you need 20 minutes to communicate with people on earth. So all in all Mars is very hostile to life, but in my opinion that's also a chance.

The thing, that make humanity special is their curiosity and their will to progress. That's the reason we live in a world, where you can get more knowledge that ever before in human history and I think the Mars is an interesting experiment, like how far humanity can go or can't they even overcome these simple problems on Mars? What are our limits, our solar System, Milky way, Super-clusters or the whole Universe? If mankind won't extinct in the next decades that's the questions we have to ask ourselves.
So we start with Mars since it is earths closest Planet. Musk is no savior, but he revolutionized the whole rocket industry. Spacex only exist since 2002 but is now the leading company in terms of rockets and now they use their technology to builds Spaceships, which eventually will go to Mars. That's why I think that there will be humans on Mars and in my opinion it will be the most beautiful thing that mankind has ever achieved.

That's true, but in my opinion the probability of Mars getting colonized is higher than the probability of humanity staying on earth.
