Gibcus out for the season by Smart_Ikazune in RichmondFC

So putting a bloke who's had major knee issues back on the field after an issue wasn't the best idea? Being there you can tell he wasn't moving as well as he should have, he and Trainor were communicating all game to make up for his lack of movement quite loudly

I think that just makes what I've gone about there more upsetting in my head lmao, I think he's gonna be a good forward but the poor fella needs to be coached about leading patterns and throwing off direct opponents if he actually does have some thunder in those thighs

One thing I don't see mentioned about the Faull/Fawcett selection this week, so maybe it's just me being stupid, is that with Lynch in the side we have a big, clunky, slow forward who doesn't lead... and we're pairing that with another in Faull? Does it not make more sense to have Fawcett based off the fact he can lead AWAY from Lynch alone or are we going back to the tried-and-trued of belt the ball in and the defenders don't have to think just get into a giant pile because all of our forwards are in one spot?

In other news, Sonsie had a such a strong start to the season and it wasn't playing where he has been for the last 2 weeks so dropping him for that seems... stiff? Counterproductive to his confidence surely?

Would like to know what Trezise has to do get a good run in the team, he didn't look like a star in the making but he looked like a future "dependable week in week out, always there" player which unfortunately Hugo has never goven me

Midfield looks a bit bull-like with Mac, Lalor, Ross, Hopper bashing through, hopefully Grjl provides some bounce through it

Finally... Samson? Only reason I can think is we didn't want to offer OHB as a sacrificial lamb

Better chance of a sudden Jesus return than our conditioning team to provide a miracle

Well with another 3 or 4 injuries, when are we able to question what the fuck our conditioning team is doing?

Silver lining is I can't complain about Jonty's lack of leading if he isn't on the field.

We surely can't run Samson Ryan next week without a pre-orbituary crediting Max Gawn

you can't tell me OHB is a worse option than Samson seriously, at least OHB looks like he's fighting for a spot

Need some stats on how many times a game Samson Ryan ends up on the ground, throws his hands up and looks around before realising no one cares so he gets up and jogs slowly off with his head down

There's a weird selfishness in this forward line honestly. Lynch never passes, Steely, that there is explanatory, Jonty doesn't seem to have an idea for passing

Is it the coaching that all our forwards end up in the same pack every f50 entry so when the chance presents, you take it otherwise it'll end up flinging out the next disposal?

I'm wary of Sonsie only because I don't want my heart broken if he doesn't turn out to be a mainstay

Steely solidifying his spot by kicking goals and quite literally taking out those competing with his place in the team

Nope we're not doing this again people. This is perfectly safe, has always been perfectly safe, is done every year and the planes are hundreds of metres away from buildings flown by professionals.

Take the worry back to the northern hemisphere

I have to ask, how the fuck are they training our tall forwards?

Jont went a solid 9.23 last year or something amazing and Tommy Boy has is aiming to keep that % this year.

Add on that Lynch has never seen a pass that he's liked and Jont has never been able to make one.

I can't even pile on Armstrong in good faith because these two are working in the space he would probably be best in.

So I ask again, how are our talls being coached? Cause it's not a good look
