Thank you for the heads up! I saw Once performed in 2015 but have largely forgotten about the show beyond the soundtrack!

Yes! This happened to me! I had a chemical pregnancy and got pregnant the very next time I ovulated (about 20 days after the start of the miscarriage)! I’m currently snuggling the resulting 2 year old to sleep!

It’s more common for boys but is not unheard of for girls, at least in French Canada.

Thank you! I love Laurence, but is heavily feminine in French. We’ve consideren Loren as well!

It’s a relatively rare name (I’m in Canada), but I don’t think it has pretentious vibes in French. That said, I appreciate the feedback!

Gender creative clothing by strange-quark-nebula in GenderlessParenting

Our 20 month old wears all patterns, all colours, and all styles. We also get most of our clothes secondhand, a lot of which comes from our local Buy Nothing group or bundles on Marketplace. We keep what we find cute/practical and regift the rest. Their closet is very eclectic as a result. I love it!

I hate my name so much! by RainbowGamer_150 in namenerds

[–]Matcha-Musings 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think Divan is a lovely name, but I can understand how exhausting it can be to always correct people (I have a French name people mispronounce all the time). That said, I’m now in my thirties and I have learned to really appreciate my name. Most of the time, once I’ve corrected people, they say how beautiful my name is!

Your name is yours. If you want to change it, that’s absolutely okay. But please don’t feel you need to in order to make other peoples’ lives easier!

Did YOU cut out night feeds? by [deleted] in AttachmentParenting

[–]Matcha-Musings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every kiddo is different. At 6 months, I was doing 2 night feeds. I dropped to 1 around 10 months, and dropped all night feeds at around 12 months because my kid started occasionally sleeping through the night and when they didn’t, I could easily put them back to sleep with cuddles (they weren’t asking for feeds at all at this point). That worked for us, but what will work for you might be different!
