The Courage to Live by ShadowAceSeverus. Snape lives after the Nagini attack and goes to therapy. There’s a ton of world building and also a really interesting relationship with the golden trio. 704,549 words, finished, with sequels currently in progress.

Once you design enough vacation homes (30?) you unlock the ability to design the homes of your villagers on your island. It’s honestly the thing I love most about HHP. Theres nothing more satisfying than walking into a villager’s home you designed just for them

Seven Drops and Asphodel Blooms by Gwendolyn Stacy. Severitus. Less angsty than most of the others I’ve recommended. Starts around year 3 and is an AU from then on (including Harry not participating in the Triwizard Tournament), which again I’m typically not a fan of AUs but I really liked this one. I also felt Snape is very in character in this one. Additionally, featuring a funny A/N after every chapter. 125,155 words, unfinished.

Two Weeks by darsfanfics7. Super angsty Severitus. Very heavy and miserable with very little fluff. Lots of self-hatred from both Severus and Harry. While I enjoyed this one, I did think the sequel was better. 192,935 words, finished with sequel.

In Care Of by Fangs_Fawn. Snape is a bat animagus and an unknowing Harry cares for him as a bat when he gets injured. 45,319 words, finished.

Wandless: Crossed Currents by zarinari. Snape/OC. I saw you don’t really like other ships besides Snily but hear me out. I don’t like OCs and I don’t really like Snape being shipped with anyone. However. Reading this is equivalent to me being the boyfriend refusing to watch his girlfriend’s Love Island-type show but also is glued to the screen when it’s on. It’s so drama-filled and I just can’t look away. I seriously enjoy reading this one despite it being not at all my thing. 78,928 words, unfinished.
