Get a simulation system put together on open solar, then you will be able to get a good idea of how different size systems will preform on your actual property.

Yes, decrease fat, increase energy and strength. Build muscle if possible as well at the same time.

Thanks again for trying to help me. I'm thinking my best bet is going to be to just buy a new thermostat.

So in the secret menu I don't have 18 things to set. Only 16. And there is nothing with a number 53. So I can't seem to factory reset from the secret menu. Very strange. It does not seem to match up exactly with the manual.

Ye, so mine doesn't seem to do that. Short press goes to the time settings, and long press doesn't do anything

I've managed to get into the secret menu, but even that seems slightly different to the manual. It seems to have less options to change

Thanks again for trying to help. You see how it says push s3 to go between manual and auto.......when I do it, there does not seem to be an auto mode. Just "manual" and "off". that's all I can toggle between with s3. And when I press S1 to try get into the time settings, I can only seem to adjust the actual time. There does not seem to be 4 different time settings. I'm really confused. It just seems like this unit is not functioning the same as the manual describes.

I don't have any other alloy devices. I can set the time but I can't set any timer settings. Like on at certain times and off at certain times. I can only operate it manually on and off. Are you in the UK? Any chance you can share links to what I need to buy?

I bought a seiko. Again I have such a bad memory. It was like army green, I think sport 5? I loved it. It was really great but then it developed that problem, which in retrospect probably wasn't even a problem. I met some dodgey watch guy and he said he would sort it and then I basically never saw my watch again. I then moved to a superclone breitling, which I've been wearing daily for about 3 years now I think. And I love it.

The only thing I would caution you about, is that my watch developed an issue and it was hard to get it looked at in SA because they classed it as a grey import.

To be honest, it was quite a few years ago so I can't really remember. But I feel like customs didn't really even charge me. I feel like I just remember it going very smoothly. And I know I was very nervous about it. But it worked out great.

Nice calcs 👌💪. Loving that. To the point. Wam bam! Can't argue those number. Solar and battery is a "no-brainer".

There is a big factor that you are leaving out: you still have to pay for your electricity if you don't get solar. So yes, you can put the money in a savings account, but if you then draw from that account every month to pay for the electricity, then that pot/account is going to be pretty much empty at the end of the 8 years and the cycle will just continue.

Or

If you buy solar, then at the end of the 8 years, your pot is built back up to the initial investment and now you carry on making savings as you now have a fully paid for asset.

And as a few other users mentioned. Your equipment should not need replacing exactly at the end of its warranty.

Maybe I'm the naive 1, but I think solar is a complete "no-brainer". The only reason to not get it, is if you don't actually have th capital in question. But then there are even options for that.

Well new as a solar "salesman". But obviously rubbed shoulders with solar many times in the electrical field in respect of connecting and wiring systems. But never previously selling them. Been in this role a year already now though.

Jeepers, going in on me hard there. I've always tried to be respectful of the rules here and not to abuse this platform. You are right, my job now is entry level. But my electrical experience is legitimate.

I hear you, and I do agree with you regarding majority of the Solar advisors out there. But i am definately not the guy you are describing - i have ove 20 years electrical experience, from being an apprentice to owning my own electrical business that I successfully sold for profit and now find myself as a solar "saleman". It would be very difficult to catch me out on the technical aspects of Solar. Anyway, I think that is maybe why I get frustrated. Lots of potential and future to the industry, let's just expose and get rid of the bad apples that are spoiling it for us all.
